I believe both of the seats of my car have been misplaced. One should be on the passenger side and the other on the driver´s side. I did noticed that only the right one (passenger side) is the only one that has a cable underneath. Shouldnt this cushion be on the driver´s side?

Question for you guys. I have two cracks about 5 inches long. In your opinion is it worth trying to fix? Do those covers look good? What are the fix options? Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile

I've been reading through some of the great seat rebuild threads and have been wondering how firm are the new molded foam inserts from MSA and other venders? I love the look of the OEM seats but mine are mush, I'd rather rebuild them then go aftermarket as long as the outcome is a nice firm seat. Could someone who has done a rebuild comment on how much of a change the new foam makes? Thanks, Steve

I'm replacing the crappy Victoria British/Black Dragon straps that I installed in the early 90's and have had a couple of the clips that hook into the seat frame holding the straps in place break on me. Rather than see how many more break I'd rather just replace them all with new. I am able to make my own as it's pretty easy to fabricate a jig to bend the wire I would honestly rather just buy them if possible. I've check some upholstery supply stores online but have found nothing so far.

I need help in finding the best supplier to match the seats in my 77 280z. As you can see in the top picture the covers I have are way off. I need something like the lower picture.

Do the 72 - 78 seats match up to 70 seat to bolt them to the floor? I like the spring seat bottom and recline adjustment much better on the 72 - 78 seats.

After much searching, I found an overseas source for an S30 leather dash cover made from Italian leather. Finally got it delivered yesterday and will document the installation process here for those interested. I had previously attempted a dash repair with SEMS bumper repair but found problems with thermal expansion/contraction causing failures at the vinyl joints. The advantage of leather is the material will expand and contract with the material underneath without failing. Since this vendor is new to me, I won't give the source until I determine the quality of the fit and difficulty in installation. I am also working with them to verify their design. So far…

I have Corbeau brackets and seats . How do the brackets attach to car ? Do you put the bracket on the seat before putting in car? Do you just attach the 1 part of the bracket to the seat before putting in car? Bracket has 2 parts. Any help? Thank you.

My '72 had never had a rear deck lid pannel, I'm going to make one up and cover it with white vinyl to match my interior. I was planning on using some 1/4" press board, but was wondering how thick the original was and what kind of material was used on the OEM? Thanks, Steve

I removed the blue interior panels in the 70 and plan to dye them with SEM or custom mix vinyl/plastic part paint. I noticed that the interior vinyl is an "Ice" metallic or pearl looking blue, but the back of the plastic panels look to be a solid blue. Were the plastic panels solid blue or were the fronts painted to match the pearl look?
