So I have this weird toggle looking switch on my center console and I have no clue what it does. It's in between my fasten seat belts and rear defogger emblems. Wondering if anyone knows what it is for/ what it does?

missing some pieces for the vinyl interior. wasn't too happy with the strut tower and wheel well piece fitment, though i'm not sure where they came from. looking to get the side-sills and pillar and roof side and front pieces (with foam if it's available, or else I'll have to track it down). was thinking of classic datsun motorsport pieces unless there are better repros that are closer to 1970 ones?

Has anyone purchased the door panel vinyl skins from "Z Car Source". I believe they are $145, not bad price.

Both of the original seatbelts on my 240z are worn meaning they do not retract. Besides of that i will need to send them for full restoration as the screw that attaches the shoulder and lap does not keep in place. Any recommendation for high quality replacement for both of them?

Ebay ad says 280z but clearly these are 280zx seats. Will these fit my 77 280z without major work? Has anyone done this swap before? For some reason I like them.

Here are some pictures showing my steering wheel makeover for my '72. I wanted something a little different but still keeping some tie in to the original rather than go aftermarket. The first picture shows what it looked like when I bought the car. Covered in some weird wrap and lots of rust. I wanted the redone wheel to be thicker so I wrapped two layers of felt around the original wheel to make it about 1/4" bigger in diameter. Finally, I wanted it wrapped in leather. I considered Wheelskins, but I wanted the outer part of the spoke to be covered as well. It…

My question is can you swap a 280zx clock (or any of the trio gauges) into a 280z? I have done a bit of searching and can't find a write up where someone has put the ZX gauges into the s30. Do they use the same connectors?

I'm finally getting to put my Z back together after a few years(260 stockish) The seats were recovered 3 years ago and I am just getting back to reassembling them. I noticed that the seat backs have flush bolt holes on one side and protruding bolt holes on the other, other than that they appear symmetric. My thought is that the protruding holes go on the mechanism side and the flush holes go on the spring side. Can anybody confirm or deny they proper seat assembly?

Retractable Seat Belt Restoration for my 1972. I recently sent a set of seat belts to be restored to, due to recommendation on this site, I sent them to Ssnake Oyl products in Texas. We are at the point where they have disassembled my belts and given me an estimate. Ssnake Oyl in the estimate listed repair of a tear in one of the rubber covers on the male end of the seat belt. I am sure that the tear was not there when the parts were shipped but that is another story. I have since found another cover and will be sending it to them. Regardless the estimate was in the neighborhood of $780.00. Including new labels made at the price of $30.00 each. My first thought was that …

Dash recover . I’ve been thinking about doing this for a couple of years. I put it off until I had my Speedhut gauges. Well I no longer had any excuses. This is not a cheap way to fix your dash but a lot cheaper than sending it out for recovering. It is destructive to the original dash so if you plan on having it recovered in the future this is not an appropriate mod. The basic premise is this. Bond the cap to the existing dash. Fill any gaps between the cap and dash with expanding foam. Fill and blend all the seams and gaps. Paint entire dash. I had done the “fill the cracks and texture paint” kludge to my dash …
