I thought I would update some information that hls30.com included in a thread he posted detailing rear view mirror restoration. That thread is now closed but you can do a search for "Rear View Mirror Restoration" for the complete article. He included a website, www.mirrorresilvering.ca, used to have his mirrors resilvered. This website is no longer in operation, but I did find a business in the northwest that does do resilvering. There website is: www.hylitemirrorandglass.com I gave them a call and they quoted me a price of roughly $70 + shipping, more than one would like, but there seem to be very few businesses that do resilvering these days. Today while looking at e-bay at something (strange for me, I know...), and I noticed a set of leather shifter and ebrake boots from this company (Top Gaiters) from the UK. Datsun 240Z 260z 280z Leather Shift Boot E Brake New | eBay What caught my eye, was two things. Real Italian leather, 100% feedback, and CHEAP!!!! Even the shipping is cheap. $35 bucks for the pair and $9.99 shipping to my door in Western Canadia! My datsun 1972 240z did not brought the Tail light Panels that go under the tail lights. I already got the center panel and will purchase the left and right soon, however in order to install them i need to fasten them with some plastic rivets. I read that the parts number are the following: RIVET-PLASTIC 79909-E4100 2 questions: -Where can i purchase these plastic rivets? -How many will i need?

when I removed the black surround to my taillights all of the small plastic rivets broke. these rivets are smaller than the ones that hold the interior plastic in place and I cant seem to find them to order a few...anyone have a link or proper name for them?

So this winter my heat hadn't been working. Blower motor clearly worked, so I figured I might be having problems with the heater core. Tonight I got down and looked around to see if I could spot any obvious problems, here's what I found. You are looking at the passenger under dash, where the heater hoses pass into the firewall. Forgive the glare. The two smaller circles are the broken tips of the "Cool - Heat" lever. It is broken in half, so even though the console was set to "Heat" nothing was actually happening at the blower and core. The large circle is the mount for the wire itself. Hi, I'd appreciate some feedback from those who have installed a Courtesy Nissan AC Kit (SKU: 240-Z) in their S30. Was the installation straight forward? Does the unit meet your expectations?
