i have a set of somewhat tired 14 inch us indy slotted mags on my car. i think 14//7 on rear and 14/6 on front possbily. does anyone know if there is a new wheel of similar style available? car is a 73 240z.

well, I am finally getting to the heart of my disappearing brake fluid problem on the 72 240z. Looking at the back tire I could see some residue on the back side of the drivers side rear wheel. It's been several (over 12) years since I have worked on Drum brakes. The rubber line still appears nice and dry. I pulled the drum off and found the shoes and inside of the drum nice and soaked in brake fluid. Anyway, I would still like to confirm with the community, I have a blown wheel cylinder. I had a similar problem in the late 80's (ugh) which turned out to be the steel line on the backing plate.. I can't remember if that leak made it all the way into the drum though.. Anyon…

Does anyone have the Nissan part no.'s for the 4x metal brake/fuel pipe clips and rubbers located along the tunnel and also the one located on the rear cross member ? Are these still available to order ? Thanks.

Hi all! Like the title says, i`m looking for this specific aftermarket brand(RAYBESTOS) of rear wheel cylinders for a 73 240Z(only coz it fits my budget, bout$55/piece). I`ve already checked a handful of NON-specialist mail order companies that advertise them but they always end up being out of stock. Anybody know where i can get em for sure? I`m not sure if it was the RAYBESTOS website that i checked but it didnt look like they had this wheel cylinder available!? Help pls! THANKS in advance. Patrick

Rear discs worth it?

I've got the complete rear end dropped out of my car getting ready to be blasted/painted. Before I but it back together, are rear discs worth it? I'm going to have ~$250 into redoing the rear drums, and only $200 or so more for discs. That said, the master cylinders still work fine, drums/shoes are new...it really only needs springs. The car might see some track time once a year. I feel more comfortable working on discs, I've only worked on drum brakes once in my life. Of course, I can always convert it later.....

I have a pair on the rear of my 300. They feel great. But, has anyone tried the Fuzion Hri's on an S30? I'm going for 215/60/r15. I'm looking for good cornering, but also comfort if possible. These are not for competition use. Any experience/input is welcomed. Thanks guys.

Refreshing 6-spoke ZX wheels

Just bought some new wheels! A few questions... What is the best cleaner for 6-spoke ZX wheels? The coating on the spoke portion of the wheels is peeling off - what is the best way to remove it? I am hesitant to sand this area since it has very small groves and I'm not sure it this would damage them. What is the best polish to use on these wheels? Anything else I should know? Looking forward to the advice! CJK

Hey everybody, I was wondering if any of you have experience in changing out the rear wheel cylinder yourselves. The place I got the quote from said it'd be 120 installed (driver's side), but I can find the part for 60. Is it worth the 60 bucks to get someone else to do it? It's a 1974 260.

Oh boy, I took my rear strut to a machine shop to get the rear guide pin out and after I got home I noticed the wheel cylinder gear was gone, I went back to see if it was there and of course it wasn't, does anyone have one for sale, I just need the gear on the end. Or where I can get one? I am no at the final stages of getting it back together and now i'm stuck. Any help?

Recently changed both sets of wheels on my Z's. The green Z currently has the Libre wheels and I just put the original steel wheels and D hubcaps on the red one. So, in comparison to the slot mags and other mags (not sure what you'd call them) what do you think? Also, first time I've had both Z's at the house along with my Viper. It's amazing how many lines the Z and Viper share
