If anyone is interested in Gunmetal Grey Panasports be prepared to wait. There are absolutely zero in North America. I put an order in with Les over at ClassicDatsun.com back in late March and it looks like I still have up to two months left to wait. If you are looking to get a set I recommend getting your order in now and hopefully yours can get slid in on the same manufacturing run that mine will be in and you won't have to wait as long. Les has been great to work with and he will give you a good deal on the wheel package. Les at www.ClassicDatsun.com 760-940-6365 Nate

I searched the message archive and think I know the answer, but need validation before I talk to my mechanic tomorrow. My Z has a 4/71 build date. I bought it NEW, however it's been sitting for years and I had all the brakes replaced - including the M/C. My mechanic used a later M/C. I've read that the reservoirs are switched on late '71 M/Cs and the lines to front & rear brakes need to be rerouted if going from an early to late M/C. Is that correct? Input appreciated.

Greetings all, I picked up a set of rims recently that were supposed to be Panasports and after looking at the pictures on Panasport's site I started to wonder. The pics I can find have what looks to be the Panasport logo cast into the rim. Certianly not the same markings on the ones I have. The main reason I am trying to identify the rims is to determine options for finish treatment. I am leaning towards fully polishing the entire face of the rim which would involve sanding down the cast centers. If they are more valuable as they are I'd be inclined to leave them alone. Any input would be greatly appreciated. -Ray '71 240 (with tired slots)

I'm looking to purchase a 260z for a semi-dailey driver. I'm trying to skim the costs down as much as possible. I have a set of virtually new 14in tires I had on my 70 Mustang. Can I use these 215/70R14 on the 14x7 rims on the zcar now? Seems like they might be too tall. Thanks

My 73 has no brakes at all, when I push the brake pedal it only gose about 1 inch then stops, it makes a sound like metel hitting on metel. Could this be the brake booster? Thanks Bill

My rear brakes hang up when I park my 72 z. When I drive it there seems to be aslight drag at low speeds. Any ideas (I've adjusted the shoes with no success) Do I need to replace wheel cylinders ?

Just wondering what you guys thought of the look of a Z with raised white letters on tires . I had them on my silver 71 with aluminum mags and I thought it looked great. Maybe the look is just dated, but so am I:).

Hey any Konig Rewind owners - I know that the Konig caps don't fit on the front of the 240Zs, but I'd like to hear about what any of you are doing about it. I figure the options are to go capless, use spacers, use 280Z hubs and rotors, or something different?? Please share your solution, with pictures if appropriate. Also, if you are running the 14" Rewinds, what size tires are you using, and what suspension do you have? Any clearance issues?
