I sent a few questions to Ross over at MM and haven't heard back from him in several days. Anyone else having trouble getting in touch with him?

Hey y'all- I've already talked to MSA and have put out a few emails, ClassicDatsun.com included, and I am waiting for responses... but I'm curious as to where else people have purchased from. I am looking to purchase the 16x7 Formulas in Graphite (i.e. Gunmetal) with the polished lip by the end of next week. MSA no longer stocks them but can get them but it will take 4 to 6 MONTHS!!! Currently MSA is getting $1350 for the special order. I'm not interested in buying the silver ones and them having them powdercoated... I'd rather wait. All response welcome... Thanks, Nate :beard:

I've been looking for some 16", zero-offset wheels for the Z... Ran across a deal I can't quite pass up on the following: SSR Professors, 17x8.5, +35 offset. Has anyone fitted a set of these to their Z? Understanding I'll likely need spacers, am I wasting my time regardless? Thanks guys!

Thought I might share this with you. While looking for old school style mags today I noticed that AmericanRacing wheels have released a few new rims that are old school design - good for us. The do the Wantanbe style in custom offset and stud pattern. Also might be work asking if the will do the Series A69 in our stud pattern. Anyway have a look at the new style sections see URL below http://www.americanracing.com/wheels/wheels.asp?currentPage=1§ion=N http://www.americanracing.com/wheels/wheels.asp?currentPage=2§ion=N Anyway also attached image of the two styles I like. Sizing of the Ansen 15x8 only or 17x7 or 17x8, Silverstone 15" from 4" to 14". Imag…

I found that on the driver side I have '77-'78 style shoes and wheel cylinder. and on the passenger side i have the stock '76 shoes and wheel cylinder! I don't know why anyone would ever do this. I can't tell any difference in the half axles and u-joints, can i just get a backing plate for a '77-'78 for the passenger side and complete the mod? I like having the cheaper wheel cyinders! but having half and half is just too weird.

Hello All, I just finished glass beading the Brake booster down to the bare metal and I am not sure about the original finish. Does anybody know if it was gloss black or had a % of a flattening agent added? The small amount that was left looked like gloss but after 35 years it is hard to tell. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jeff

my 83 280zx e-brake sticks. I need to fix it to pass inspection. It is the driver side rear cable that will not spring back. I have lubed it and played with it, it is much looser now, but the spring just does not have enough left in it to get it to spring back (but doesn't take much). A new rear cable would be over 150$ and I just want to pass this stupid inspection. Any suggestions?? Any help? Anyone have a rear cable for sale?? Thanks Steven

This is too funny. I purchased my 240Z about three years ago and drove it 500 miles to get it home. The brakes were stiff and I accounted that to the old system. Having driven older trucks and cars I am accustom to hard brakes. Well, I almost immediately put the car on jack stands to replace the struts and springs and do some modifications including upgraded brakes. I installed the 15/16 280Zx MC, vented discs/280Z calipers up front and solid discs/240SX calipers out back. Braking improved but pedal pressure was still hard and stiff. I decided to upgrade to the 280Z booster. I 'thought' I percieved better braking but it was still very stiff and hard. Mind you, I only driv…
