Please Help. I have been very happy with Yokohama Avid H4 87H tires. However, H-Rated tires are NO longer available in my size -- P185/70R14. The tire outlets want me to purchase T-Rated Avid T4 88T tires. I know that I am not the only 185-70-14 guy left in this world. What brand/model tires are the rest of you using? I have found that Sumitomo has H-rated tires in my size... ...And they probably won't work out either. I wanted the HTR+, but they are only available in 50-, 45-, and 40-series. The SRIXON4 are only available in 65- and 60-series. The HTR200 is available in 70-, 65-, 60- and 50-series. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Sumitomo&tire…

Not the best example I've seen before but they seem like a good deal. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-WATANABE-14-RIMS-DATSUN-510-240Z-AE86_W0QQitemZ8039002675QQcategoryZ43954QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

17x7" Motegi MR8s with 225/45-17 Pirelli P7000s. Should also fit Hondas. Haven't measured the tread depth on the tires, but the wheels and tires are in great shape. I prefer the traditional look of Panasports.

for your brakes to work? I am not trying to drive with the caps off, but my old caps lost their gaskets and I was trying to do a quick test drive around the block to check out the effects of my clutch and brake line flushing. I completely gutted the gaskets and put the caps back on. When I pushed the brake pedal, it went to the floor (while the engine is running).

timing is everything!! just when i get the cash for them, MSA no longer has a supplier for the screw-on center caps for the slotted mags and therefore they are subsequently NLA from them. i can find the "Z" emblems (thru VB, etc)for them but not the caps. i need the caps for the set of wheels i was going to be using after i cleaned them up, of course. since they are pre-drilled i can't use the push-ons. anybody know of another source for these? thanks in advance

Alan, (or whomever might know) What are these Japanese wheels? I've seen them pop up several times now on Yahoo Auctions Japan and always with a hefty price tag... What are they? http://page2.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/b64665954 -e

Hawk Black

This is more of a comment for others to benefit from rather than anything else.. Several weeks ago I contacted the SpecMiata Superstore to get some Hawk HP Plus pads and a new set of front rotors. They were out of the HP Plus and instead the salesman suggested I try some Blacks instead. He confirmed they would not be overkill for the street... Yesterday I put them on, and went out to bed the pads in. Boy was he wrong. These things are SUPER noisy AND dusty. What's worse is that if you use anything else than a gentle brake pedal pressure, these things will come on so strong that they lock up the front tires. I've driven 50miles and the front rims are BLACK with brake dust.…

I have had one of my mag wheels crack, so I am currently riding on a black ugly spare. I only need one wheel, not all four. I was wondering if anyone has upgraded their Z wheels and would be willing to sell their old slotted mag wheels. The wheels on my car are 14X6, and are a brand " shelby cal 500 " . Thanks
