I have a 73 240z with the 5 slot 14 inch mag wheels. I had some new tires put on last month, and the right front wheel was cracked. Does anyone have any spares that they would be willing to sell me? I only need 1 of the 14 inch sloted mag wheels, not all 4. Thanks, rclayton_12@hotmail.com

Hey Guys, I got my new wheels a while ago and just had a chance to check out the fit. I had the front suspension apart installing new struts. I got the Ansen Sprints from American Racing. (#A695748, 15x7, 4/4.5) They are the same wheels MSA sells for $820 plus shipping. They call them the "flashback" wheels. I got them from Wheelsforless.com, with center caps, chrome lug-nuts & chrome stems , delivered to my door for $536. They are not the latest trick wheel, but IMO they look great on the early model Zs. I have bolted them up and there is plenty of clearance even with the Toyota truck caliper upgrade. They look like the wheels Bob Sharp sold in the old catalo…

I was wondering if theres a way to take the tires off my rims myself. I have the slotted mags, and am going to clean them up and get my tires. But I don't have much extra money to spend to pay someone to take the tires off... unless I have to. If anyone knows any ways please let me know, thanks.

the time has come for me to get new tires for my 240zt, I found three brand but I'm not sure what tire would work best ( 225-50-15). I drive my car from spring until the first snow falls, and only on sunny days. I'm looking for input form anyone that has run one of these tires or have any experience with them. The brands I'm looking at are the Falkens ziex-512, Nito Nt-450 and the BGGoodrich G-Force sport. http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...25&ar=50&rd=15 Thanks

I am thinking of ordering a set off COmpomotive ML wheels/rims. Sizes: 15x8 -6 front (Does it fit under stock fender) 15x8 -12 rear Tyres would be 225/50 all around. I do have to flare the car for sure... BUT: Do I have to cut also front fenders under the flare? Which parts of chassis-fenders are the FRONT tyres going to touch? Is this going to radically shorten the life of my wheel bearings? Thanks in advance, Otso

Hey everyone, I am buying parts for the 300zx and toyota caliper upgrade. I've been searching for rotors slotted or cross drilled, and I've been looking at ebay. My question is does anyone know about any of the stores and the quality of the rotors usually found there. Theres a bunch of companies selling them called trinet, steel run rotors, irotors, r1concepts. Any info would be great. Thanks

I'll be replacing the old stock brake assemblies on the 78 that I'm working on soon. Does anyone have any opinions/experience with the PowerStop Brake Rotors? I'm looking at the cross drilled type for the front end as a stock replacement. The Vac-U's are a little more than I need. The car will not be driven hard or raced by the way. Also, any info on rear drum brand replacement would be helpful. I'm not interested in doing any conversions. Thanks guys, www.project280z.com

I want to do the rear disc swap on a 76 280, do I need to chang the master cylinder? If so, which one should I use and will it mount to the stock vacuum assembly? Can I use a 280ZX or 300z m/c with stock brakes and do the rear set-up later?

I'm just looking ahead trying to decide which direction I want to go with regard to wheel choice. Which do you prefer? Personally I sorta like the retro 280ZXT look but man those Panasports are sweet! Stock - this is what I have now. Panasport Formula Gold 280ZXT
