Recently picked up a set of Epsilon 3-piece wheels. They're in great condition but I will be re-finishing the centers and buffing the barrels up. I'm considering having the centers powder-coated rather than painted. Thoughts? Recommendations?

Inside rear brake drums each side has one of these. Something for the parking brake cable?? When I dropped my car off at the body shop it was a “rolling” chassis...later I came and picked up all the suspension. I didn’t take loose the cable so I’m not sure if this works with the cable somehow. All I know is I can’t find them anywhere on any brake parts webpages. Of course a stud on each broke when I was disconnecting everything from the rear brakes. I can try and fix them, or if I knew what they were called I may could search them up. Thanks.

I've been told they are 280z rims. They are on the 1973 240z that I bought and am working my way through. The original owner found the original rims and hubcaps (well, three) so I'm going to put those on and sell these to try to recoup some costs.

Was dreaming about RS Wats this morning, but priced them out and at $2,100-2,400 delivered, they are a bit out of my price range. This realization resulted in a spiral around SE Asia replica options (Rota RK-R, Atara Pisang). I wanted to see if anyone has bought these in the past that can talk about their long term experience (Cracking, finish issues, fitment challenges). Also, is there a good site for used rims? Been watching ebay, craigslist, and FB Marketplace, but Watanabes tend to pop up rarely and go quickly. Tagging a few users who have mentioned Rota RK-R or Atara Pisang in the past. @spitz17, @chachacourt, @srbigbutt, @WarrenZ, @Kevin McSweeney

After debating with myself about a rear disc conversion and seeing all that needs to altered and my intended use of the Z car, the stock rear drum set up will be adequate. What is the best solution for finishing the brake drums? Mine are really in good condition on the inside-a quick run through the brake lathe will clean them up nicely- but the outsides are rather ugly. A good cleaning and media blasting should make them look better but what is the best paint or finish? Caliper paint, ceramic engine paint, high temp exhaust paint, or powder coating? Any suggestions gladly welcomed. Thanks, John-Lugoff, SC.

Just joined so hope I'm doing this right. I have a 1970 240z that I've owned for over twenty years. Has been carefully stored for the past ten years but not driven. Replaced rears wheels cylinders and bled brake lines and they work fine. Then discovered front calipers were locked up so replace with new (Rebuilt ) units. Carefully bled the master cylinder again as well as the front brake lines but calipers not working. Should I now replace the master cylinder ?

Hello everyone, I’m new to the form but I have a question for y’all. I’ve been doing a lot of research but haven’t found quite what I’m looking for. I have a stock 77 280z and I’m wanting to do some very minimal mods. I’d like to lower it with springs and put some new 15x7 Rota grid wheels on it. My question is what’s the biggest tires I can fit on those wheels with lowering springs? I think 215x60r 15 would work but what about 215x65r 15? Thanks for the help!!

I have two new rotors in my collection of parts that I don't know what they fit. There is a part number 16-00508 511-240 on the boxes. They are about 10 5/8" in diameter. The "top" is 5 7/8" in diameter and 1.5" high. My part number searches have turned up nothing. Seems like I tried them on my 240 years ago, but they weren't correct. Assuming I picked them up in a parts lot from someone. You guys have any ideas on how to determine what they go to? Thanks in advance PS. I hope this is the right place to bring this up. Haven't visited this site for a long time. Ken

Back about 9 years ago, I purchased a conversion kit from somewhere that I can't recall. It uses 240SX calipers and an 11.25" diameter cross-drilled rotor. Anyway, one of the calipers is leaking, and I would like to upgrade to a caliper that is lighter and has more piston area (think Willwood). What I would like to avoid is replacing the mounting brackets as that will entail cutting the existing bracket in half, or pulling the stub axles. I can't find a Willwood caliper with the required mounting center of 4.5", so I will probably have to make an adapter for the existing bracket. Any other suggestions?
