Offset Question 1 2

On a wheel that has a +42 offset as I understand it you need a spacer for this wheel to fit on a 240Z. Question is would the spacer need to be a -42? A + offset means the wheel where it attaches to the car is further from the car where as a - offset it is closer. Right?

I am looking at these nice WORK wheels VS-XX style. The website has a Specification Guide which shows rim depth in mm and then shows the offset for each size. I know the Z requires a Zero offset. How would I go about doing the math to findout what offset I can use with say a 37mm rim depth? Here is the website to the wheel and chart I am looking at. Thanks http://www.worksuperwheels.com/wheels/vs_xx.html[/ur]

Found lots of useful information about upgrading the front brakes on my Zed, But........was wondering - if you wanted to upgrade to 4-spot ALLOY calipers, is it possible to keep the original Caliper mountings, or do you have to go with a custom mounting? & Can anyone recommend someone who sells a good front brake kit??? Ive got a few different quotes from SWR, All Z Spares - but im not 100% sold on their kits yet...........

Hey guys..I just put a new mc. on the 72. The brakes work better but you have to pump em up. We blead em out again...and again.....and for a change f pace we blead em out again. No change. Given the shape of the car and the brakes im going to just rebuild the who brake system. New calipers and cylenders. Drums and disks And flex lines. Im still debating on wether or not change the servo. Dose anyone have any other BRAKE parts i need to look into? I know i got puns coming. Or does anyone know of a deacent solid 240 shell around arkansas or close to it? I thought about pulling the engine from the 72 to the 71. But for now im saving some cash. Thanks for your help...Bill

Hi guys, I've got someone with a set of FIA 4 piston calipers. They were offered as an upgrade through datsun and work with solid rotors. Anyone have any experience with these calipers? He tells me that their lighter than the toyota calipers and a direct bolt on as well. But i'd have to keep my solid rotors. What do you think? Are the toyota's a better upgrade?

Just doing my usual eBay check for some Panasport caps that aren't the $14 each they want from the Z Store and came across these 15x7 Konig Rewinds. I checked these out in 14" before I got a set of nice, but used 15x7 Panasports. If they go for the "Buy-It_Now" that would be a decent price, and doesn't look like they try to gouge you on shipping either. I don't know how much they weigh, but they're a nice look -- somewhat different than the Panasport/Minilite/Watanabe, but much the same. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7946988193&category=43955&sspagename=WDVW Oh yeah: Anyone have some nice used Panasport caps gather…

I just saw these rims on an SSS bluebird on eBay. The description says they're chromed ZX rims. Anyone know or can tell if the rounded edges came just from the chroming or if these may have been heavily ground to smooth out the edges? I really like the rounded look, and the spokes look thinner. I've also attached a pic of my wheels for comparison. Thansk for the help MIchael
