I'm asking because I have a set of American Racing Libres (yes, they're the real item) with the spinner caps in what I'd consider excellent but not perfect condition for used wheels (no road rash, corrosion, pitting, etc). I mounted new Goodrich tires ($400). I used MM spacers and bolted on my 17x7 Racing Hart C2's and the 71 Z looks awesome. Anyhow, I haven't decided if I really want to part with these wheels but could use the money for other upgrades.

It's a 260Z currently on auction. The ad claims the car is not running but looks to be in pretty decent shap for the price (parts car perhaps - currently at only $420). What caught my eye, however, were the wheels. They are wire wheels (okay, not comments please - I happen to LIKE wire wheels) of a kind/brand I've never seen before. They have a definite "classic" look to them, reminiscent of the 50's and 60's, not the "uber-chrome" look of the 70's and up. Maybe it's the photo, but the hubs are the giveaway's. I would think about making an offer for it, but my wife screwed up with ebay years ago and I'm not that interested to get the account cleared up. :disappoin Anyone…

I have a set of four of these on my Z to roll it around the garage, etc. They have three chome Enkei caps, black in the middle and in various stages of rust. The wheels are kind of nice, not like any I've seen elsewhere, but they're 14's and I have some 15x7 Panasports that I'll eventually be using.

I have a 1972 datsun 240z, it currently has Rear-p215 60 R14 and Front-175 Sr14 tires on it. I was looking at getting larger rims bc i saw a z with similar rims on it and it actually looked really good. They were american eagle 169 rims http://www.eaglewheels.com/index.htm I know these are front wheel drive rims, but i have heard if you put a spacer or adapters on it they too fit. Just wondering if anyone has any info on this subject and how big of rims and tires i would be able to go with, on a stock z. I was hoping for 17 inch rims? At have looked through the fourms and haven't found much about the spacers and fwd rims. Please Help.

Just picked up some 280zx 6 spokes that are in dire need of cleaning and polishing. They are extremely dull right now. Couple of questions: 1) Are these aluminum wheels? 2) What's the best way to polish them up to get them looking like new? Thanks, Mike

Hi guys, I've decided to buy 15x7 Konig Rewinds. Just wondering which color you would pick? I have the factory yellowish/green tint looking color. I can't decide on gunmetal with a polished lip or silver with a polished lip. The car is all stock body wise. I think the silver will make the car look classier, but the gunmetal may make it look more track/race car tough. But would the gunmetal clash with the yellow? Which do you think would look better? Thanks for the opinions, Jay

When hooked up, my booster lets me brake pedal travel to the floor with no effect. Once the pedal hits the floor though, the car screeches to a halt. I read a little bit about it being a rubber disc in the booster on the engine compartment side, but mine is intact and looks fine. Does anyone have any ideas? It is a pain driving this car with no power assist. Thanks, Brian S.

I'm doing the full disc conversion on my 71 Z and want to get to the right parts first time out. The front will be the 280ZX/300ZX combo and the rear will be MM kit with 240SX calipers. I live near East Coast Z Center and will pick up the 280ZX pieces there. Never been there before but going in the next day or two to check it out. Another question, is $100 for these front calipers and hangers a reasonable price?

Ok here it goes..... The car has not run for five years, bringing it back to life...... I completely opened and fushed the lines, installed a NEW master, NEw rear wheel cylinders, NEW brakes and hardware all around, bled it out 3 times, there is NO air in the system, no leaks, everything looks like it should. Could the brake booster be bad? How do I check it? any other ideas? Thx Capt Mark

These are the rims that came with my 280zx and one of my friends said they looked like early Z rims so I thought I'd ask you guys. I'm trying to find more info on them but I havn't a clue what to look for. The closest I could find on my own are minilites, but still not quite the same. The thing that's really throwing me off is the copper color of the spokes. I have yet to see some more like this. I'm fairly certain that they are Magnesium, but I need to know for sure. and I want to know what I need to do to get them looking good again. Thanks.
