Not sure if anyone can tell just by looking at this pic but are these 15 or 16 inch wheels? I found this pic on the web and I really like the setup of this Z. I actually have this pic as my desktop background. I believe it's in Taiwan and I assume they are gunmetal grey Panasports???

Hi folks. Does anyone know of the biggest wheel and tire combo for A 240z with coil-overs and rolled stock fenders. I use the car for autocross ( SCCA SM2 ). I currently run 15x7 Panasports with 225x50x15 Victoracers, however with current competition, I don't think this enogh rubber. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks, Justin

Hi All, I have been away from Zcars for a few years and have lost track of what is in demand and what is currently "junk". While rummaging through my garage; sorting through piles of Z parts, RX7 stuff, and various bits that fell off of equally various British sports cars; I found a set of 14x7 Shelby Slotted Mags. They are in good shape and not polished. Any guesses as to a realistic value to these things. At one time these were very desirable.

My Z came with a set of Enkei 92's on it, they are 14x6 i believe and in decent shape with all center caps. I am thinking of getting some 15's for the car. Are these rims worth anything? Are they OEM or aftermarket from the 70's, maybe a dealer option perhaps? Just looking for some basic info on them is all. I did some searching around but did not discover much. Thanks, -jared

Hello all, Can someone go to the gallery, type in "510" and find the pic of the red 510 and the red Z (that are SWEET by the way) and tell me what type of wheels those are??? By the way I think that they are on page 4 or 5, depending on how many pics you have per page.... BRE? Thanks! Brian

After hours spent searching for brake upgrade info for my '71 240Z (on many websites) I've come to the following list of parts to suit my purpose. FRONT- 79-82 280ZX front calipers and hangers 84-up 300ZX front vented rotors (non-turbo 4 lug) REAR- 88-90 240SX rear brake calipers and hangers 81-84 Maxima caliper brackets (bolt-on & assuming these are from rear) 84-up 300ZX rear non-vented rotors (non-turbo 4 lug) Brake hoses ???????? 79-82 2180ZX master cylinder (15/16" bore) The only thing no one mentions is what flexible brake hoses are needed. Can I use the original (or new replacement) hoses or is another required due to fitting differences? Obviously, …

Well after a long wait and search I found what I wanted, I think I will wrap them with 225/50/15's not sure which exactly yet. Thinking the Falken Ziex or the Nitto NT450 . They are Hayashi Racing mesh 15x7 with a +2 offset , love the lip. Its just nice to have one aspect of the car done.

I don't know if anyone has ever brought this up, but Boyd Connington has a range of billet wheels that they will make for a Z...correct offset, 16-19 inch diameter, also wider than you usually find....7-10 or even I think 12 inch width. A reasonable size is approx. $250 a wheel. check them out, and please let me know what you think, cause instead of panasports, this might be the answer...I emailed them and they said they can make z wheels with correct offset for 70-78s. http://www.billetwheel.com/home.html
