Do 'works' hubs exsist? I can get a set but don't know if there is much advantage with them or how much they are worth.

Fellas, Anyone out there painted the centres only on these type of wheels. I'm contemplating getting mine done in a gun metal grey while retaining the alloy/chrome look on the 'lip' of the wheels. I think this might look quite good Any experiences/feedback appreciated, thanks guys.

Hey guys, my 280z was sitting in a field for more than 3 years, and when i tryed to take it out for a drive, it felt like the brakes where starting to slow it down, untill it couldent go any farther. Also, the E-brake light never goes off, so do you guys think that my ebrake cable could be stuck?

I've been searching for wheels that will fit a 73 240z and havn't found much of a selection. If anyone knows of some sites besides MSA i would greatly apreciate them. Thanks, Hunter

I've got a 1975 280z. I want to put disc brakes in the back. I've heard of swapping them out with another Nissan vehicle. Can someone tell me which one it is? Thanks in advance!

One of the green wires broke off the Master Cylinder cap on my 280Z. It broke off where it goes in the cap. Is there a way you can repair that?

Hi guys I have a 72 240 & it came with wheels marked as Shelby - Vipers. Does any one know anything about these wheels? They are 14" X 6.5" or 6" The name Shelby is in script Viper is in block letters. I am intrested in history & composition, are they a magnesium alloy? They were highly corroded & i was wondering what the original finish was. I am almost finished with restoration painted it brite yellow two toned seats console & door panels yellow/blk new interior, polished cam cover & carbs glass beaded intake etc. I also have a 260 & 280 parts cars planning to put 5speed trans in & 200 dif but all difs appear to be the same. Thought I'd better change threads for this one: I've been bleeding them like crazy with no results, but now have read more on the site about the booster and fear that might be it. There is a lot of hissing when I pump the brakes, lose all pressure when I start the car and the pedal sticks pretty bad on the way back up from stepping on it. I disconnected the pedal to make sure it wasn't the pedal itself, definitely coming from the rod that attaches to the pedal (and the booster). Damn, I have a race in 6 days, is there a solid test to prove that it's the booster, not air? thanks -Bill

This might have been covered before, but can any one tell me if a brake booster can be tested off the car? like with a vacuum gun? or does it need to be on the car with the engine running for any tests? I have 2 early 1970's servos, one was working when it was taken off ( about 13 years ago :classic:) the other is an unknown but is probably the original from my my 1970 so 34 years old!!! Or given the age of the components should I just get a rebuilt one? thanks for any help Andrew

Having a little fuss deciding if the change out to the later model master brake cylinder (MBC) would be a good idea in my series 1 240. Have a S1 240z with a "passed its best" MBC. The PO gave me a new later model MBC and I'm thinking of installing it. Apart from the swapping of lines, what else could be an issue. Bambikiller240 posted this reply. Can you assist us to expand the knowledge base.
