   brake lever is "frozen" in down position. I got under car and noticed the cables were disconnected from the rear brakes. What would you guys suggest that I do do fix this? thanks RobertH

   I am running the orig, turbine style wheels that I believe are 7" and a 14" wheel. Presently I am running 195x70s . I know I know just a stock size. but I recently replaced the front rotors and am using performance pads in front and like wise in the rear, only stock drums . My ? is this, the other day on dry pavement I had to panic stop the car from speed and fried the front tires , which have about 1k miles on them. They are not a name brand tire any one other those from the northwest would be aquainted with. Any way what is a good tire that affords good stopping and cornering that will come in a 14" tire.    I have an opportunity to buy a set of 15" 280ZX Turbo swaztika wheels that are in fair shape and there's no curb rash on them. I haven't seen them yet but they probably only need polishing up a bit to make them look nice. The set will include lug nuts and caps. My question is, what do you guys (and gals) think there are worth? They are located close to me so there isn't an issue with shipping. Thanks for whatever advice you may have. Rob

   Hello all Z drivers I would like to know what type and brand of tires most of you Z heads are running on your cars. I realize that different events require different tires. So for the strip what do you find works for you and the same question goes for autocross. Has anyone found a street tire that can preform on the track and still have enough rubber to get you home? The old saying is true, there's no point in all that horsepower if you can't get it to the ground and make it stick.

   I had my brake system flushed over the summer at National Tire & Brake (NTB). I asked the guy what the fluid was, so I can keep extra on hand, and he told me it was DOT-4. Why not DOT-3, like every other topic has?

   1978 280Z Most cars have the e-brake handle in the center of the (hump) so I was thinking that you could probably replace the on on there with something like from a Mustang or Camaro, etc? You could probably then use a center console from the same car.

    Rear Disc Brakes? Worth It??

    I have seen many people say that they have done a rear disc brake conversion, at least one stated it was from a 240SX. I would like to know if this conversion is worth doing? And also how difficult it is? How much should I expect this mod to cost? In conjunction with this I have also been wondering about the front 4x4 mod. I have read the threads on this one already so please do not feel like you need to answer questions about it here or point me to those threads. I say this as it helps give a full picture of what I have been thinking about.
