Can anyone help me with the spacer details that is needed to use the Toyota S1W brake calipers with the '84-85 300ZX NA, vented front brake rotors? I am looking for dimensions to mill my own spacers. If anyone has spacers in Oregon/Washington, that I can measure, I'd find some way to thank you. Your help will be appreciated.

I have driven and enjoyed my reliable 72 z for many years since I bought her many years ago (still full stock). About the same time of purchase I replaced the original oil filled shocks with KYB gas units, I replaced the second set of Bridgestone with Potenza in 2001. Now, I have a new set of shoes far better than Bridgestone for my stock Z. It maybe a shame for some of you but they are BF Goodrich on the original steel rims. They are very comfortable and not distorted as the Potenza when new. My question is: -Rotation never done in 43k -Front tires were worned even in front and still good. -Rear tires were worned more inward (why I made the decision to replace the enti…

Hey guys was wondering if anyone knew where to find mag lug nuts for AR Libres. Everywhere I go they have short or long shank, but it seems like these wheels need something like a medium shank which I can't find anywhere. Thanks Chris

A friend of mine is going to Japan for business and said he would be willing to get me a set of Watanabe's so I can save on shipping. Does anybody know of a distributor/wheel shop there that I can direct him to?

I follow-up on my tread below for one perfect hubcap. ZParts asked me $350.00 for a set of three and never wanted to part out with only one no matter my offer in excess of $100.00 for one only. I have bought a full concours set of four to get just one. I will keep one as a spare and I have two for sale. They have perfect original center Z logos and paint. Anybody interested can send me a private message. .

Several question came up but no help on any searches: For competition, would you want the load rating to be for pairs of tires (one side) ort for all four? the reason is that when the car rolls, more, or almost all, the weight is on one pair of tires, so you'll want a tires' load rating to be about 1/2 the car weight? Abobody got a chart to show the ratio/coefficient, or just go by sine(X)? thxu

Hi All, Pretty new to the Z, and am LOVING my car. I've trolled the archives and read many posts on the wheel/tire topic, but am still trying to figure out what size replacement wheels/tires would be best on my 77 280Z with poly bushings and Tokiko struts but otherwise stock suspension. My tires need replacing which is what has me thinking about replacing the wheels as well. I drive a fast, windy mountain road on my commute (lucky me!), and it rains quite a lot 3-4 months of the year. Concerns I've identified in my reading are: - handling - wheel rubbing - hydroplaning - forgiveness for potholes, etc Your suggestions and input would be very much appreciated. Thanks, Dan

Hi everyone, i am just in the process of buying some holden commodore fronts and 280zx rear brakes for my car. i have the toyota 4x4 4 spot pistons on the front, slotted rotors, with ebc green pads, and some super dooper race pads with about 70% material left. I AM NOT SELLING THIS NOW, but what i am interested in is about how much i might be able to get for them if i sell them. i know it sounds cheap, but i am on a tight budget and was just curious as to how much they might fetch. Cheers, Tom.

I have had one of my mag wheels crack, so I am currently riding on a black ugly spare. I only need one wheel, not all four. I was wondering if anyone has upgraded their Z wheels and would be willing to sell their old slotted mag wheels. The wheels on my car are 14X6, and are a brand " shelby cal 500 " . Thanks
