I was thinking about getting a set of 15x7.5 front and 15x8 SSR Reverse Mesh wheels. I was wondering what a good offset would be for em? +38 with a 5mm spacer? Also, will they clear a 240SX/280ZX disc conversion Here's the wheel...opinions would be nice too...they're my #2 fave wheel after Watanabe RS8s but thats more for the 86 crowd I guess.

I'm looking for opinions on which of the following types of rims you think would look better on a Z racer. They are both 15x7 and weigh in at 12lbs. Style 1 Style 2 Thanks, Rick

My 72 datsun has black generic ugly rims on it now, with 14" 195/75 tires. I currently have major hook-up problems with them. I am putting nicer rims from my 81 Datsun 280zx on it. What would be my best bet for tire size and width for this car? I need some better rear end trackion for launching and all...

Driving home the other night in my Z. Dark, city streets. Unfamiliar roads. Making a long sweeping left hand turn. All of the sudden BANG! A sidewalk in the middle of the road. One of those medium barrier things. Hit the left front HARD! I felt bad. The impact was so hard it knocked the horn pad off the steering wheel. I felt like my baby got violated. When I got home I did a quick look around and the only dammage I could find was a big blister looking bump on my tire. It goes from the edge of the rim to the tire tread and is about 3 inches wide. Rim looks o.k. The only other dammage I could find the next day was some chipped paint from the top rear side of the door (by …

I parked along side a Camry or Elantra or something the other day and it had decent-looking alloys on it and the center bolt cover had a logo that read "Z Wheels". I assumed this to be the brand name. I did a coulple of searches and didn't turn up anything. Anybody know about these? They were definitely fairly new style wheels. I would be really interested to see the rest of their styles... BTW, most of my searches turned up O.Z Wheels (Italy). These are NOT them. (Damn, those gunmetal F1's are pretty!) steve77

Hey guys, I'm going to sell my spare set of wheels and tires. I'm wondering what price I should be asking for these. I'm selling the wheels, tires and nuts (including 4 locking nuts plus the key). They are in good shape except for one that has some discoloration shown in pic#2. Two of the tires probably should be replaced soon and the other two don't match (manufacturer) but are in good shape - I'd guess 80% tread left?. I think they are 225/50-15. Anyway here are links to my pics and thanks a lot for any help!! http://www.utdallas.edu/~perdue/wheels1.jpg http://www.utdallas.edu/~perdue/wheels2.jpg http://www.utdallas.edu/~perdue/wheels3.jpg http://www.utdallas.edu…

I realize questions like this get asked alot, not on this board apperently, but I have gone through the archives and can not find exactly what I am looking for. I would like to put the largest diamater wheels on my 240 that I can. I was aiming for 17's. Is this going to be a problem if I have the car lowered one inch? Also, what exactly do I need to know about the size of the tire and the wheel spacing or the offset? Thanks for having patience with the newb. John
