Ordered some Rota Grid V 15x7 4x114.3 0 offset Gunmetal Royal lip wheels and was told 2-3 month wait. No problem with that but checking up on order was informed 2 more months. Out of curiosity called another well known Datsun parts supplier who advertises same wheels and was told 10-12 months. Why does it take this long?

@Mike perhaps this could be a sticky... Use this program, courtesy of rimsntires.com, to load your stock wheel size and then choose whatever wheel and tire you want. Then you can compare how it will fit on your build! Wheel and Tire Comparator

My brakes are stuck. I’ve pulled the rear tires off, and I’m trying to get the wheels off to look at the brakes. I’m using a rubber mallet and a block of wood, along with spraying wd40 and carb cleaner where I can to try to break things loose. Any ideas on a better way to do this. I’m thinking that ATF might be a better product to break things loose. ???

Has anyone had any rubbing issues with this size on a 7J wheel? Any pics of how they sit on a slightly lowered car.

But I have questions. Where is Arne? Dude knows everything about period wheels from the 70’s! i currently have 15X7 0 offset (I think) id like to go 16X7 or 8 if possible, or a squared 16x7 all the way around. What have you guys done successfully? What tire size have you used? Where the hell do you buy them? I’ve seen wild price differences! Here are pics of the car with a set of Kosei K1’s, (I didn’t like them, too modern) and the current Panasport.

HOWDY, I currently have some old BFG Radial TA's on my 70 240z, that I am thinking of replacing. First of all, my car is a stock 240z with Nissan European Springs, MSA sway bars, KYB struts, on stock 280zx wheels ( see attached). The current tires are 195/70-14, but I am not that happy with them. Any suggestions on some decent tires? What sizes are you all running? Thanks in advance, Bob

I need to replace the rear wheel cylinders in my 71 240Z. The cylinders changed in the 72 - 73 time frame. The early wheel cylinders go for almost $200 where the later goes for less than $50. Has anybody used the later model in the early car? Here's a picture of the later model on the left and the early model on the right. The only difference I can see is the part where the bleeder valve stick through the back plate is taller and the soft brake line connection is 90 degrees vs angled in the early model.

Pardon the pun but I need some tire advice. My '73 240Z came with Appliance mesh 6" by 14" wheels. Just picked up a set of 7" by 14" mesh wheels (racers seemed to use them back in the day) that came off another 240Z. Looking at wider tires but wanted to keep the same diameter. A 215/65 14 seems right according to Matthew's chart in this thread: Has anyone used the Federal SS657 in that size on their car? Impressions or feedback from actual users would be appreciated. They are a H speed rated tire good up to 130mph. https://www.tires-easy.com/tires/federal-tires/215-65-14
