Looking for a bit of an odd item. It's the connecting rod that joins the parking brake handle and the cable as depicted by number two in the diagram. If anyone has a spare or can build one I would really appreciate it!

I have the old aluminum slotted mags on my 73. One wheel has different shaped lug nuts from the other three. I tried the Dorman replacements from the local auto parts store, but they don't fit. So I'm looking for 4 used lug nuts. I tried ZCarSource, but no luck. Picture below shows: Top - New one that looks correct but doesn't fit. The shank diameter is too large, but the head shape is correct and matches my others. Bottom - Current set that fit, but head shape doesn't match my other 3 wheels. Dimensions: Shank diameter: .680" Shank length without washer: about .80". Washer OD: about 1.06" Washer thickness: about .13" Any help would be appreci…

I'm preparing to install a rear disc brake conversion kit on my '78 280Z (from MSA, single caliper) that requires changing the e brake cable to a 240Z cable. MSA charges around $250 for the cable but you find them on Ebay (from Thailand) for $50. So my questions are: 1.-What's the difference between the 240 and 280 cables? 2.-Can the 280 cable be easily modified to work? 3.-Has anyone used a Thai cable and with what kind of results?

Looking for a bit of help, I'm getting rear disk conversion brackets made based on this diagram I found online. My main question is does any one know how far it needs to be machined down? The bracket has been cut from 1/2 inch steel. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I just bought this set-up for my 240. After all the rebates and a $20 dollar credit I had from another set, $511 to my house. The money does like the Energizer Rabbit, It just keeps going and going and going...

My car came with 1/4" spacers behind the steel wheels when I bought it. I took them off and have been driving without any issues. After putting Konig Rewinds on then driving around in tight circles there was no rubbing so I put the spacers on the rears, looks a little better to me. With the acorn lugs there was plenty of threads left to tighten the wheels down. Is there any potential problems running the spacers on the rears? Thanks for any advice or experiences doing this. I have studied this subject in the archives extensively and originally decided to go the 225/50/R16 on a 16X8 route. I have utterly failed in finding a wheel the I like in a 16X8 4-bolt pattern. I thought the Rota's where a lock but they are on indefinite back order. After some soul searching I have decided to go with the following: 16X7 Konig Rewinds with 215/50/R16 Kumho Exsta XS Here's the question. I don't want to rehash the sizing debate. I just want to make sure that combination of tire/wheel works. Does this sound like a decent combination? Thanks all in advance.

I'm puzzled by these tabs that run along the back edges of the rear brake panel of a '70. They are rusted out so kind of hard to tell what they are. I don't have them on my stock '72. Forget my '71, it's been modified with disc brakes. Does anyone know exactly what these tabs are for and what they actually look like? I've searched for images with no luck.

Hi all - I thought I posted this last week, but I'll try again. There is a lot of talk on the forums, and I've looked on other sites, but I can't find a definite answer. I have the 12SW calipers and the 300ZX vented rotors, and then got the spacers recommended. What length in studs do I need? Does anyone know a part number, or any info on where to order?

Hey guys, so getting winter down south here, and I've decided the brakes should be my main focus on my Z before the weather turns to crap. My brakes haven't been the 'best' since driving the car. I find that unless I pull the parking brake lever up a notch or two, the brakes seem to be really weak. I've already replaced the front calipers with remans, replaced the master with a BRAND NEW (non reman) 7/8's master, and now I'm getting to the rear brakes. The wheel cylinders are leaking slightly so i figure that's where my issue lies. At this point I suppose it makes sense to mention I've already adjusted the rear brakes tight. Anyways, I did some research and found t…
