I have a set of wheels with R.E.I. cast in the back so I went searching the web and turned up nothing. Can anyone help identify these wheels?

Hi, I am new to the site. I have a 1971 240z and would like to put new wheels on it. I'm looking to get Rota RB's but I am not sure what will be the right size because I do not want to roll the fenders or need any type of spacers. I need something that will plug and play stock, preferably 16" rims and will the front center cap fit the rim when mounted. Aslo if you guys can tell me what size tires to run with the setup. Thanks !!

This is going to be old news for many, but new to me. When I rebuilt the front brakes a few years ago I didn't use the no-squeal grease, because I wasn't sure where it went, and greasing the brakes seemed like a bad idea. Anyway the brakes have been extra squeaky the last week. So today I tried making a couple of hard stops (I don't usually break hard unless I have to). That fixed it somehow, no more squeals.

I can't find any info on this. Could someone tell me what the master vac hose is for. The hose with the check valve. It connects to the engine (right)? If you have a pic, that would be great. Any basic info on its function would be great. 71Z. Thank you very much, TimsZ

Greetings from Oz. This is my first question (post) of many to come. This deals with my (Barn Find) 73 240Z. (More on this later.) Is there really any great difference in front and rear brake hoses? The front appear to be about 2 inches longer, but other than that they seem to have the same ends, clamps, etc. I want it to be safe, but if fronts will fit the back with no real danger of failure, why not? I seem to see more front hoses available than the rear. Another brake related question. One of my books said if you remove the brake fluid reservoirs from the master cylinder you must replace them with new ones. Any truth to this? The rubber seals on the caps melt…

I was looking for something else and ran across this Car & Driver article about the effects of "upsizing" wheels and tires. As expected, extra weight and rotational inertia have a negative impact on acceleration and fuel economy, but better cornering on the skid pad. I was surprised by the difference in acceleration. Of course, the extra grip provided by larger tires offsets some of the disadvantages, not to mention that they "look" nice. The test could have been run better and I see a few issues, but overall it seems to make sense. Effects of Upsized Wheels and Tires Tested - Tech Dept. - Car and Driver

Hello, I some different questions regarding the brakes. On a lot of threads I have heard people say that the 240z stock rear drums are on par with any disc upgrade. They also mention some drum upgrades, but never specify what the exact upgrades are. I am looking into stainless steel lines and rear performance brake shoes. Is there anything else I need as far as a rear drum upgrade? On my front brakes I am upgrading to the Toyota 4X4 breaks. I was actually looking at getting the vented ones. However, I read that I will need a machined spacer to correctly move the hub from the rotor for wheel clearance and matching bolts. The source of these were Modern Motorsports. However…

I have the original Bridgestone RD-150 175HR14 tires from my 73. They're too old to be road worthy, but maybe someone is looking for an original set for shows or something? They still have tread on them and certainly look the part. Figured I should at least ask before I throw out original parts.
