These wheels are off of a 260Z that is basically a clapped out shell I saw today. This car will probably go to the scrapyard. These wheels looked vintage and I didn't want them to go to waste. Are these wheels special at all?

Should you put anything on the threads of brake line nuts, either to help with sealing or to help with removal in the future? Thank you, TimsZ

My body shop is sending out suspension pieces to sand blast and will be coating them in por 15 semi gloss black..They asked if I wanted to paint/coat the brake calipers and rotors/drums. Any thoughts on this? Will this hinder brake performance? If so, is there another to improve the look of these rusty brake components? Thanks

Looks like the original studs are cut short and a threaded adapter lengthens the push rod to make up for the extension of the booster into the engine compartment. I am wondering if DGV to manifold adapter plates could be used as the concept is similar for coupling carbs to manifolds. I've changed my brake hoses all around and a few lines. New master cylinder and I've bled the system 3 times and I can't get any brake pedal pressure what so ever. I didn't bench bleed the cylinder because I couldn't get a bench bleeding kit here so I did it on the car. I did both reservoirs at the same time probably around 100 pedal pumps each time. No visible air what so ever left including at each wheel. Am I doing something wrong or missing something obvious here? Thanks

Hello, I’m doing some research in order to get some new rims. • My current setup is: 4 lug, 15 X 8 • My current tires: 195/70R 14 What brand or company might you recommend the most? Can anyone tell me what kind of rims are on this car here (I like this style): Here’s a pic of my car right now… After I get the new rims on there do you think I can get any money for these old ones? Maybe 25 bucks each or is that too low? Big Thanks, Bart

My callipers are sticking on my 73 240. I remember rebuilding them a long time ago and it was a pain. This time I'm thinking about just using them as a core and buying a pair of rebuilts. Anyone have any experience with the rebuild callipers from Autozone or Advance? tks

I'm thinking my 76 2+2 might look better with a wider stance in the rear either from wider tires or use of wheel spacers. It looks like I could fit some 235/60R14s in the rear. Has anyone else went with this size tire in the back? I'll have to stick with narrow tires (eg, 205/70R14) in the front or I might not beable to turn the wheel at slow speeds. Of course I won't beable to rotate my tires. Or has anyone used wheel spacers in the back? One of the guys at work has an Infinity G35 coupe with wider wheels in the back and it looks very aggressive and sharp. But I'm not sure how this would work/look on my 76 Z. It looks like the BRE race cars had wider tires in the back. O…
