I just ordered a pair yesterday from Dean at Datsunparts dot com. He is asking $130/each, or $230/pair. He just got his first shipment of 15 pairs. Datsunparts mostly caters to Datsun Roadsters, but he has other parts as well, and apparently specializes in remanufacturing NLA Datsun parts. I will let everyone know about look and fitment after I receive them. Here's the link to his website: Datsunparts.com Partnumber 2550 Datsun Z Car 70 - 78 & 510 68 - 73 Rear Aluminun Finned Brake Drum Be aware that he only takes orders by phone or e-mail, no shopping cart.

I rebuilt and modified my brakes. Here's what I have: Stock Booster 15/16 Master from an '81 ZX (the right one with 2 reservoirs) 4-piston calipers with the proper, non-vented rotors Rear disk conversion from MSA Wilwood proportioning valve (to rear brakes) New steel lines throughout Braided lines to calipers I bled the brakes at the master cylinder and each caliper; right rear, left rear, left front, right front. I actually bled them twice and there didn't seem to be any air in the lines. The pedal can still be depressed to the floor but pumping it repeatedly will get me pressure and minimal braking (I'm not sure how much because the car is simply not safe to drive ri…

Can someone who has done the rear disc conversion post a picture of the emergency brake cable routing at the caliper?

How good is the 240 emergency brake supposed to be? Wondering if mine is shot. Tried to break the rear end loose ala Paul Walker at the parking structure in Tokyo Drift but no dice. It's OK for parking on a hill and will eventually bring the car to a stop but that's about it. Haven't inspected the rear brakes.

I am in the process of looking to replace my front rotors on my 240z. I am looking at the Stop Tech Power slot rotors and when looking online I found the 260z rotors to be about 35 dollars cheaper per rotor. The website that I am on shows the 260z rotors fitting a 240z. I was wondering if there was any difference between the two model years?

hello all I need help with the id of fuel line and brake line rubber insulators. The three insulators in question have a ? above them. I need to know what year or if they even go on a 240z, maybe a 73? They seem to be for larger fuel and return lines than on 71 and 72. maybe a 260z? I have looked at a early 73 240z and did not see these insulators on the car, but they could be in an area that I could not see. any help would be great.

I was just curious if these happen to be stock rims or if these are just randoms that were put on. If OEM, what are your thoughts of black powder coating or chroming them?

Well as it turns out my cars pulling to the left really hard was probably not due to my front brakes at all. It seems my passenger wheel cylinder is almost completely seized. I had replaced the drivers side back in 2011. But at the time the passenger side was responding well. Well no longer. Just a note though. I called Courtesy Nissan and they said they had over 40 wheel cyilinders in stock for 240Z's. so if you wanted an OEM part, they have them.
