Guy at the wheel shop says no but i want to ask someone who has a set. I can get either 15x7 or 15x8 and will run 255-50-15 tires. Anyone with experience with these wheels please let me know

Got the new tires on yesterday. 225/60-14s on 14x7 slotted mags. With some Simple Green, several scrubbers and some elbow grease, the wheels cleaned up pretty well. The lug nuts are still nasty, but I'll just replace those outright. Also need center caps. Yeah, yeah, needs moar low, yadda yadda. There are no fluids in the engine bay at the moment. Or carbs. So some weight is off the front axle. Also want an air dam. Front of the car looks too light without it.

So, my oversized Boyd's (shown) are just too much for me. I'm planning to get new wheels and tires to fit the car. I have money and this time it's for real. What do you recommend? I'll take a look at some of the older posts but any new replies are welcome. I've been looking at both Panasport and Konig Rewinds. I had the Konig light silver on the car for one of our local shows here in Portland and they looked great. Panasports would be perfect too. But are there any other opinions out there? How about JDM wheels from Japan? Mike

I need a reaction disc out of an early master vac brake booster. Anyone got an old brake booster that they could dig one out for me. Happy to pay for your effort and postage. Thanks Guy

I own a 1972 240Z and need a center cap for the original polished mag slotted wheels. I only need one but would buy 4 if necessary. The caps are held in place with four small bolts which need an allen wrench to tighten. Any ideas where to fine these caps?

well I got a new booster from orally.. I took all the bolts and everything else off the old booster including the nipple part that goes into the master cylinder and the bracket that attaches to the pedal assembly with a pin.. The bracket(fork like part with pin) from the old booster that attaches to the brake pedal that threads onto the booster is actually smaller than the stud on the new booster. now the part seems to be made of copper or brass so it should be easy to enlarge and rethread but I just wanted to know if this was something others ran into or if I got an oddball reman booster with a larger diameter stud on the pedal end? Also on the master cylinder side the n…

Started work on my rear brakes today. The right side was completely soaked with brake fluid, this explains the fluid loss from the MC. It looks like what happened was the brake adjuster came free from the rear pad or was not installed properly in the past, this explains why my parking brake never worked right. So the adjuster is basically toast from rubbing against the wheel hub and part of it cut into the cylinder seal I need a new one. Actually just the fork end the rest of the adjuster is in good shape. Anyone know where I can find one? not even courtesy parts have it. :disappoin

What type of wheels are these? The seller does not know who the manufacturer is but said they are 16x7, 4x4.5 bolt pattern, he thinks the offset is +25. He only wants 300 for all 4. i havent looked at them in person but he has told me that they are all in good condition.

I have a 1972 240z that I am getting road worthy. All my seals on the brake cylinders are leaking, so I decided to upgrade all the way around. I have the maxima rear disk conversion, and plan to buy the toyota from calipers. I see a lot of people mention upgrading the master cylinder for the extra fluid needed. I was thinking the one that came off the 280zx. Thoughts? Recommendations? I found this one on ebay (I would just local, just needed an image): http://www.ebay.com/itm/BECK-ARNLEY-WORLDPTS-Brake-Master-Cylinder-072-8240-/320831371879?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3A280ZX&hash=item4ab30a3a67&vxp=mtr

So I had been looking for replacement caps for the corroded "Shelby" plastic center caps that came on my 240... mine are mounted with 4 screws into the wheel face and have proven difficult to find... so today I decided to find out what a little steel wool would do to them - hoping it wouldn't destroy them. Wow! While they are far from perfect they will all clean up to serviceable level... now I have to find replacement stickers for the center... sure would like "Shelby" stickers.
