Simple question. Are these rims/style of rims (rotas, pansports, konig) overdone? I love the way they look but a recent datsun meet has opened my eyes. Everyone had it and made it seem like they all had the same car.

I have recently purchased a 1976 280Z and have been trying to get the brakes to work ever since. I will give a little background on the situation. The brakes were very noisy. They had new pads but cheap ones. I added shims and some lubricant and the noise stopped. The next issue was that one of the rear lines was leaking. I replaced the line. Through this entire process when ever I applied the brakes the care would pull badly to the left. I assumed that the front right brake was not working. I replaced both front calipers and purchased Thermo Quite brake pads. I have bleed the front brakes a few times now. Not and expert at brake work. Here is the issue. When…

I rebuilt the rear brakes on one of my early Z's. I wanted to run the adjusters out to limit pedal travel but I don't seem to have the holes on the inside of the backer plate to advance the adjuster with a screwdriver. Has anyone else run into this problem? Is there a good solution or way to ajust the brakes out. I manually activated the e brake maybe 100 times or so, but I only heard one side clicking. Thanks, Charles

Any ideas? I get lots of news release that Raybestos is making them from epoxy or some lightweight material but no reference to our early brakes specifically. Don't make me have these manufactured!!! :disappoin

I've seen the 16X7 size for sale with these color names listed seemingly interchangeably. The Konig site lists only Graphite. Are they one in the same? I've seen pictures that show Graphite as a lighter grey, and the few Gunmetal pictures seem darker, which I like.

An ebay seller made a mistake and sent me the wrong brake wheel cylinders and shoes. Returning them would cost almost as much as what i paid for them since he is not refunding my shipping, so i'm putting them up here. Normally i would make a classified add but for some reason my browser is not letting me.. i keep getting a server error. I have two brand new brake cylinders, and a set of rear brake shoes for a 77-78 280z Shoes are Auto extra AXS480 Cylinders are CONI-SEAL WC13780.. one of the cylinders came in a wagner? box i think it was.. they're both exactly the same one is a different color. 20$ shipped anywhere in the united states.

I'm buying a new set of 16x7 rewinds and trying to decide on a tire. Per Arne's recommendations in searches I've done, I think I'll go with a 205-55-16. I'd like some input from you guys on a high performance summer tire. First off, my car isn't a daily so wear mileage isn't a particular concern. Neither is wet/snow traction, unless I get caught in a storm on the way to Tahoe or something but I can deal with that:). I may auto x on occasion, but the car will mostly be for around town and rippin' up the local foothill twistys. I'm kinda leaning towards the Dunlop Star Spec Sport, but reviews I've read say they are noisy....can anyone provide insight on these? Any ot…
