I have a set of stock 97 integra rims. Will they fit my 1974 260z. Only reason I want to put Acura rims on my datsun. Is because I have no rims for it. Or what other cars will fit. Or is there any way those acura rims will fit.

going from a set of Bridgestone Potenza G019 Grips, to a set of Bridgestone 960AS pole positions. The tire place local to me said they would do the swap for the price of mounting and balacing. I am pretty happy with that. I was just never happy with the side wall response of the Grips. I am hoping an ultra high performance tire is better than a high performance tire.. HAHA. anybody online run the Potenza 960AS tires?

I ordered Konig Rewinds for my '78 280z. The rims are 15 X 7 and the tires are Yokohama Avid TRZ's. What I need are opinions for the tire size...I have noticed that a lot of folks are using 205-60's and then some are using 205-65's. I realize this is approx ~3/4" or .80mm in ride height which is fine, but what I am really concerned about is rubbing on the wheel wells. Up till now I have run the standard 195-70-14's on stock OEM rims.. So chime in...

Just an update for those of you that are keeping up with my project (almost 2 years now). With all the body panels cut-welded-massaged and fixed by the body shop and the nice paint job they did, and a complete new interior(excluding dash), I just could not let the old wheels stay on the '72. I also had a backspace and offset problem with my large tires on the rear. The Ansen Sprints fixed it and now no rubbing issues. I thought the old school look was a must for keeping the car in the '70's era. I hope all of you give me a thumbs up - I added the stripe as well. Now if we can just get some of this salt off the roads.

I'm finally getting around to rebuilding the brakes on my 260Z. I thoroughly researched the 4 piston caliper upgrades, both for vented and non-vented rotors, and never found any measurements that would confirm if either would work with my current wheels. So, I chose to do a mostly stock rebuild with a few upgrades until I eventually get new (bigger) wheels and am free to do a huge upgrade. I tore the front left down today since it was fairly warm outside. I hope I can get to the other side tomorrow. Pre-destruction. Look at that rotor! :disappoin The brake hose doesn't look much better. All torn apart Rebuilt calipers for this thing are around $50 a piece, so…

I was just wondering something. Has anybody considered removing the brake hard line hose that connects from the front caliper to the hose? Most cars i've owned before this Z has the flexible hose connection directly to the caliper. just wondering if this would clean things up a bit around the brake caliper area. Thanks for any info.

I have taken on a new project. Decided to totally redo my rear drum brakes. Getting off the rear drum was a bit tough. Lots of convincing needed. I still have the Aluminum Drums. One thing I noticed was that the pads I took off the car were stamped AKEMBORO, I think. I was wondering if these were the stock shoes. My car just turned 70400-ish miles. And I do have relatively new wheel cylinders. The shoes I got are from Japan as well. Kashiyama I think. That was not my question. My question is can I use DOT4 fluid when I currently probably have DOT3. I was going to get some DOT 5 silicone based fluid, but I was not sure if it was compatible. Just curious. So…

I wanted to confirm something with you guys. I can bleed the MC without taking it off the car, right? Like as in bleed it like the brakes using the bleed valves? And ot confirm, the proper order of brakes is drivers rear, pass rear, pass front, driver front, right? I had pressure, but it didn't stay for long. I plan on going through, and replacing everything brake wise anyway, I was just hoping I could drive the car first. If it matters, I haven't replaced the MC yet.

I'm taking my rear suspension apart to replace shocks and springs. The spindle pin removal was almost as much fun as everyone has described-(I've only done one side though). Do most of you guys replace wheel bearings, or lube them at this time? I have not heard any bearing noise and would strongly prefer NOT to, but if it has to be done, I guess now would be the time. Thanks for input.
