Hello, Does anyone know of a shop in California or anywhere for that matter, who can repoduce a rim for me. I'm trying to get my Peformance Specialteis rims remade in a 15x7 front and 16x7.5 in the rear to fit a Big brake conversion kit. These are mine now, in 14 inch size. And these are a supossed American Racing version. Just trying to find a shop so I can get the vintage look with newer brakes. I live 45 miles North of Sacramento and been told of shops in Roseville, CA but haven't been able to find anyone who can do it after calling around and stuff. The rims are Aluminum but any kind of billet / CNC machine type will do. Hopefully with a reason…

I want to run the widest 15" tire I can on my 240 and I've settled upon Yokohama AVS ES100 225/50-15 rubber. However, because of my wheel offset, I need to use a 1/2" spacer to avoid rubbing on the front strut and/or spring. There's no problem with the rear. However, when I put the spacer on the hub, I only have about 5.5 threads left exposed to engage the nuts. The only reason I have this much is because, as I have found out during the course of trying to resolve this issue, a PO swapped out the OEM front studs with some of the longer rear studs. See the discussion from 2005 at http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18276 in order to understand what's up…

Can anyone tell me what these are, I'm thinking that these are what people refer to as the honeycomb wheels?

I just got back from my test drive, after installing Toyota 4X4 brakes with Napa premium pads and WOW... everyone should really consider this upgrade. I would rate this as important as Tokico struts... from a performance point of view "In my opinion". These things have so much more stopping power and better feel for impending lock up.. I can now rotate through the apex of a corner without having to trail brake so far past my turn in point that I over shoot apexes by feet. I'm now down to inches.... This really does work well and the insall only took 1 1/2 hours.

Anyone know the size or part number for the wheel studs? Im taking the rotors in to get the hub removed and I want to swap out the old, stretched, mangled wheel studs. Thanks!

I'm considering replacing the wheels on my newly aquired 1972 series 1 Z. Like the look of the 8 spoke panasports and (knockoff) roti's. Read somewhere that moving to the 15" rims and 60 series tires improves handling. I'm thinking of moving to 15x7 wheels w/ 60 series tires 195 or 205 wide. Questions: 1) Any major issues with this change? Will these fit without hitting the wheel well when cornering, (club autocross), or if the suspension bottoms out? 2) Will a (maybe future) 4 piston totyota front brake upgrade fit with these wheels? 3) Will a (maybe future) rear wheel disc brake upgrade fit with these wheels? Thanks! JP

Check this set out. Just listed on Ebay this evening with a starting price of $700.00. Not the earliest version of the D hubcaps, but nonetheless, in great shape! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330334703093&frommaketrack=true&sspagename=VIP%3Awatchlink%3Amiddle%3Aus&viewitem=&salenotsupported

Ordered brake pads from Motorsport assuming that my 73 had the original brake calipers. Now being told by mechanic that brake pads are too small for calipers. No part numbers as far as I can see. They are Sumitomo. Left side has numbers on the outside that are all separated : 2 7 W. Right side has X 6 M and an 84 under that.
