I just received new 240z rear wheel cylinders from Nissan. One of the part numbers is 44100-N3001(supposed to be the right one) and the other part number is 44101-N3001(supposed to be the left one). The Nissan fast system told me that these are supposed to be for the right and the left wheels, but the ones I received are both for the right wheel. What is the correct part number for the left wheel cylinder?

Went to ship my rims yesterday and was getting the weighed. I was shocked at how light they were. 13.87 lbs. That's a fairly light wheel.

well just to let anybody know if they are looking at these tires I put about 20 miles on them and all I can say is very smooth and handle great!!!.I told my wife when I came home it just made my 1974 z ride like a 20 year newer car.tire size I went with is a 205/65/15 speed rated v .I wanted to stay with my other size 215/60/15 but cooper only offered them in a h rated speed. so I stepped up to the 205/65/15 for the v rated. my old tires were dunlap sport a2 with only about 2000 miles on them in the 10 years I owned them.I am so happy with these tires maybe I will start to drive the car more . I hope this helps anybody who might be looking at the coopers cs4.by the way…

My right front brake caliper is going bad. Inspection reveals that the rubber seal has failed. m looking to replace it with another stock one. ?#1 Do all 70-78Z cars use the same front brake calipers? ?#2 What is the part #, I'd like to check prices with my local dealership. ?#3 The car still has old rubber hoses, is it worth it to replace them with steel? If so, whats a good source for them? ?#4 The left front caliper looks good, but should I consider replacing it too? ?#5 Recommendations for pads? The car is used for street driving, and the occasional quick run up and down the local mountain roads. Please don't hit me with a "use the search noob". I did, and afte…

I am looking for 225x60r14 tires... nowhere to find them ! I have 7.5 Watanabe wheels that I WANT to keep. Today I have Kenda 205x65r14 not bad at all, yet the car was way better on the previous Yoko. The only choice left is 225x50r14 - I am sure it will work but won't it look silly?

Hello Classic Zer's, I have the big brake kit on one of my race cars. Actually a car we're going to run this coming week at Sebring. I have fairly violent shaking through the steering wheel under braking. 1. Although the rotors were new, I had them turned to see if this would help the issue. Issue remains the same. 2. We have tried different sets of balanced tires. I suspect possibly a geometry issue up front. Has anyone ever run across this? Greg Ira

Hey guys, most of the snow is gone and it's time for me to get back to work putting the Z together. I have searched the forums and still can't find out exactly how to check a brake booster thats already off the car. I have the one from my car, and also have another one that I got awhile ago in a parts lot. I'd like to check them both to see which one I should use. I read this from a thread on the reaction disk: Remove the master cylinder and alloy plate from the booster. You will see the rod, seal retaining clip and seal. Remove the retainer carefully leaving the seal in place for now. Once you have the retainer out carefully pull the rod out untill it hits the back of t…

So, here's my situation... I have a 71Z, stock brake set-up, no idea how old the components are. My MasterVac is disconnected b/c lack of funds/credit to fix, so it's blocked off with caps until I can replace it. No brake problems to speak of. So the other day I have to make an emergency stop in traffic, I'd say from 30-35 mph to stop as fast as I could. At the first stoplight after that, a faint grinding comes from the rear passenger side. It's a little worse at the next stoplight, a good bit worse at the next, and at the fourth stop, its a horrible, loud metal on metal grinding that makes my heart stop, and I drive home (through the neighborhoods, thank god) with go…

So I changed out the rusty wire wheels tonight for my mags. Here are some shots for you. Would anyone happen to have a set of four center caps that I could buy or trade for?
