I am trying to collect info/adverts of the Shelby Cal 500 slot wheels. Mike B already helped a lot with info. I was wondering if some one else has info or adverts off these wheels? A scan would be great. Thanks Eric

I just pulled these calipers off the rear of my 72 240z, the PO had said that he had accomplished the rear disc conversion with Toyota 4x4 calipers. I have searched several sites and have not found any Toyota calipers for the conversion that look like these. Is anyone familiar with this unit? The pads are not too bad now, but I will eventually need to know what these came off of to get replacements. Would this be a good time to upgrade to the 4 piston calipers or should I stick with what is working? The parking brake doesn't function correctly and I am trying to see what I can do about it, it only barely holds when the handle is pulled all the way up. I have no more…

Does anyone know the original tire manufacturer, size and model for a 1975 Datsun 280Z sold in the US? Was the spare any different? Any help is appreciated!

I will sort it all one dayLOL I have a quickie about the check valve. I have 280ZX front brakes with a 280ZX booster and master cyl on my 240Z legs... If I use the check valve the way it supposed to, the brakes are very firm and not too powerful. If I reverse it, the brakes are quite strong but the pedal travel is enormous Any thoughts?

I found out that I don't have the money to get new rims for my Z so I'll be refurbishing my stock rims. I don't know what width they are but they are stock for a 76 280Z and right now they have 195/70/14 on them. Will I be able to fit a 215 width tire on those rims? What is the widest tire I could fit? Some of you have 225/60/14s, are those on stock 280 rims?

Firstly hello to all, I bought my 240z ~2yrs ago and it was fitted with Sumitomo Mk63 front calipers on solid discs when i bought it. I'm now having problems finding pads for them. I've heard 'Endless' make pads for these calipers, does somebody have a part number? Or know a website where I could order pads? Cheers

I was asked by my Dad to post a few pictures and ask if anyone could estimate the value of some of these items. He's already tracking ebay and getting multiple offers on the Centercaps. But he doesnt know what they're worth. Moneys is a little hard to come by now a days and any extra money could possibly be reinvested into the car. Any help would be much appreciated.

For those who do not know the RE-01 was one of the best autocross tires you could possibly buy a year ago. It had grip in both the wet and dry and was in all ways amazing. They are closing them out. Get these while you can! This is a genuine smoking deal http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Sizes.jsp?make=Bridgestone&model=Potenza+RE-01R

Is this original 1970 240z brake cylinder the Tokico one with a 3/4" bore size? I'm planning on buying a new one and want to make sure that it's not some crappy aftermarket one.

Well I have a question on tire size. :stupid: After doing alot of searching on the site I have not been able to find the info I am looking for so here it goes. I am planning on purchasing the tokico hp struts and eibach spring setup from MSA. I currently have what people on this site are calling western wheels cylones (14") on the car. It is the way I grew up seeing the car and I have decided to clean them up and keep 'em, at least for the time being. What I want to know is what tire size looks good on the car with these 14" rims after the eibachs lower it some. I am currently looking at the Falken AZENIS rt/615 in a 195/60/14 because of info I have found here, but w…

Attached is a photo of my "78 280Z. The normal tire/wheel is 195 70-14. The photo shows the car with a 195 60-14 The car had been in storage since 1983 and the original tires were obviously no good. I got this set from a junk yard to get the car from Michigan to Florida. Now here's the issue. I'd like a tire that more fills the wheel well. It is my intention to buy a set of Dayton wire wheels. I'm not well versed on "tireology" nor "wheelology" for that matter but you guys are. So what do you suggest that would give the car a more robust appearance? I've read the threads that relate to tires etc but I can't get the info I need from that data. I am also aware of the l…
