Question for you Revell model builders. Have you had fit problems? I have one nearly completed Z (practice) and another in the box. Fit problems include the y tube on the exhaust not long enough to reach the manifold, right seat cushion extends out from the floor pan which prevents the right door panel from sitting up against the edge of the pan and front suspension pieces not fitting well. Also when I cut the chrome plated pieces off the frame, some of the plating chips off and it seems that paint for retouching these parts is not available. I was very young and with a full head of hair when I last built a model car so I do not know what to expect with quality. Help from…

Hi there! I need to get a motor because mine is not doing so well. There is a valve train knock, and the compression is around 100psi after 4 cranks. The first crank was around 50 psi all the way across. It needs to go! I have some things I'm willing to trade, and i have some funds. I have a used PS2 with a few games, 2 mem cards, 2 controllers, and of coures GT3. I live in San Diego, and am limited to buying an engine from here. I'm only 17 and have to go to school all day:stupid: . My email adderess is spunkysandoval@yahoo.com and my phone # is 619-440-3283. I don't have a preference on what motor it is, l24-28. I just need to rebuild a motor for my c…

Does anyone know where I might be able to lay my hands on some of the 'D' style wheel trims from the 1970/71 model 240's. I have 260 style mags (actually with Skyline caps) and I would really like to return the car to a more authentic appearance. Here is a picture of the trims that I am after.

Gotta give that rear end a little lift I'm looking for a set of new rear springs, the ones that keep the car at original height. I have the front pair, now all I need is the back pair. dnklovstad@msn.com Dwight

Hi everyone, One of this years projects is to mount early style bumpers on my late-260. I already have a 72-ish front bumper in decent shape, but still need the rear. I may need mounting brackets or somesuch, but that could always be fabricated. If anyone has a parts car with a decent rear bumper (70-early74) or a spare hanging around, let me know. I will probably end up rechroming or powdercoating them, so as long as it's fairly straight, it should work. Thanks, Jeremiah ps, anyone who has swapped early bumpers on a late Z, feel free to toss out advise or caveats!
