I need some engine compartment parts for a restoration, so they should be in top condition. Here is a detailed description of what I need: 3 rubber clamps that wrap around clusters of brake piping on the firewall - one has 4 holes in it, is slightly curved, and mounts on the back-center of the engine compartment, just above the transmission. It holds 3 brake pipes and a fuel line I think. The second rubber clamp has 3 holes for brake piping and mounts just to the left (toward the battery) of the first clamp. I'm not sure about the location of the third clamp (my mechanic disassembled them), but I believe it also has 4 holes. Again, they all hold piping and are thems…

Hey guys, I'm currently looking around for a 240z or 280z in decent condition to use as a beater car for school and while I'm working on my Z32 swap. Apparently my price range is somewhere between $1500 and $2500, so.... that means $2500 :classic:. I've been looking DESPERATELY trying to find one IN Texas that suits my needs and isn't just a heap of junk. The main reason why I need a second car is to give myself a piece of mind that my current Z32 wont be broken into up here at school. i recently went to change my head gasket and found the block had a crack in the cylender wall the head had been rusted right oabove the #1 piston searching for a new motor what shaould i get i hear the 280 block is what to get with it if so will my motor still be carbed need all the info i can get please help want my z back in the worst of ways thank you
