Hey all, Looking for a decent engine to drop in my '72 240, while I spend time rebuilding the stock motor, that project could take a few years or so. I'd like something reliable that doesn't need more than a tune-up, doesn't really matter to me if its a 2.4 or 2.8 engine. I thought that someone may have a 2.4 engine laying around after they converted to a 2.8, that they would let go for cheap. Looking in the Bay Area, Thanks, Greg gregbecker@hotmail.com

Any year would do as long as the frame/floor pans and body are in solid shape and the car is complete. Original running gear would be preferred but not necessary, as would a running engine... I'd be willing to ship the car if the price is right and it meets my criteria. Thanks...

My mill in my '75 seems a little tired and I intend to rebuild it. I was thinking of going with a P90 head mated to a F54 block and leave the EFI. Could be interesting. Could bite. I really don't want to spend what I spent on my old 240Z engine (close to $5K). I can get the block locally but no P90 head has been located locally. If anyone has a decent block, lemme know.
