Hi I have a 71 240, which the previous (very young) owner removed parts from, thinking they were "getting rid of all that emissions junk". Turns out, I have about half of an a/c system, and this sort of triangular tank, which mounts inside the hatchback, just over the fuel filler tube is missing. I understand that the one I'm looking for is made of plastic, NOT METAL (thanks Mike!) I have been able to locate one on a '72 model car, but it is a different design (too big, made of metal). mine is the older car without seatbelt retractors. I am looking for an unmolested brown plastic interior tail light cover set for my '73 240Z Previous owner drilled holes for speakers and I am removing the stereo and putting the car back to stock. These are the last pieces I need. I need the whole tail light cover with the access panels. Please let me know what $ you would like for them . I do not want reproduction parts. Thanks, -Dale-

I'm rapidly approaching retirement and my days of stripping the parts from junker Zs and fixing up the cars worth saving are drawing to a close. My wife has therefore given the thumbs up to my buying a 1970 240Z (7/70 or earlier manufacture date) that I have to do very little or nothing to make it perfect. A Vintage Z Program car, one that has been otherwise restored or an excellent, well cared for original would fit the bill. Is there one out there with my name on it? Price is always an object but I know what's reasonable depending on the condition and rarety of the car. I'm looking to buy a silver 240Z in the near future for a refreshing... interior condition unimportant, but I would prefer a car with as little rust as possible, and it must have a manual tranny. Must be driveable, and as original as possible. I had been thinking about getting another black '78 280Z 5-speed like I had when I was 19 but I can't get this image out of my mind.... I'm not sure what the major body differences are from the 240 to 260 to 280, but I think there are subtle nuances that make the 240 more attractive, but what's really getting to me are the 280's huge bumpers I also can't afford anything anywhere near what these guys are asking!!
