Does anyone have a picture of an Evaporator installed in a 71-73 240Z? I am installing the AC and found an evaporator but it was ripped out of the car and the housing is mostly missing. If someone could give me a picture in JPEG or scanned I would greatly appreciate it!!!!!!!!

Ok, I've seen all these really nice modified Z's and original Z's. So my question is which one is better? Go modified and you get more tourque and all those other goodies, but go original and you have and sleek, smooth car not as fast but smooth! So tell me what you think. Comeing home from work today i stopped at a junk sale. I found this grant GT wheel from MSA. Came with a adapter for 72/73 240Z the "z" horn button, intructions, and the shipping invoice. Not bad for 25 bucks.

I was wondering if anyone has used an oil temp gauge and/or external oil cooler... the 240Z didnt come stock with this and I was wondering how to install one.... I was going to go with the oil cooler from motorsport auto, but it doesn't look like they offer an oil temp gauge kit... anyone know where to get one??

Im wondering what kind of kits or plans there are to make a convertable z car or info from other peoples experience with making a convertable. Along with that is there any problems with weaking the strcture of the car? thanks for any help

hi all, am new to this forum and looking for a nice 240z at the momment and was wondering if anyone has any details about toyota engine transplants in 240z. was thinking of using a 1jz or a 1uz as i like these engines and am familiar with the toyota range. have always been a celica nut(ta22) and have a nice little turbo one but am after a turbo six or bigger. can anyone help??

Eric Chapman made a conversion kit for the early Zcar for disc brakes. I researched this heavily and was able to talk with him on the phone. The following are notes from a conversation that I had with him. Questions for Eric Chapman’s Rear Disc Setup: What is included in the kit? 2 brackets and bolts that hold calipers to bracket What else will I need to purchase? 280zx – 79 thru 81 calipers, rotors, & master cylinder (240z not compatible but, not strong enough) What year discs to use? Hi guys im new to Z's but im lucky and got a 76 280Z with FI. I love Nitrous and when I do a built it will probly be a 3.1 stroker. What I want to know is on N/A Motor can you make more power with carbs or F/I? Iv heard pros on both sides of the fence but wanted to here from the experts. Also can I build a 3.1 Stroker and still have it as a daly driver. or would a turbo set up be more streetable? Agin thanks for any help.

hey i have a 93 toyota lexen , which is perfect condition , cd player, air con, mags , centeil locking , cruse controle , rego n road werthy , n i was wondering if it would be a good idea to swap it for an old modle 300zx V6 turbo , its in ec condition , would it be fair to ask for an extar $1000 coz mine is worth like 3-4 thousand n the 300zx it for sale for liek 3000 i need some advice want u think , n i dont really have any plans for the car like mods
