I am looking for a complete msq wiring diagram and the coil wiring diagram for the d585 if anyone has them available. And help or guidance is appreciated. I am about a weekend away from firing up my F54/P79 for the first time after having the head shaved .080 along with new valves, lash pads and valve stem seals. The cam, springs, and rocker arms have been retained. The bottom end has not been rebuilt, torn down or modified in any way. There is the possibility that it has been rebuilt in the past, but I can't prove it, aside from clean internals and freeze plugs that were cleaner than the outside of the block. I have driven that engine before, about 2 years ago before I took it out of the car I got it from. So my question is, should I run break in oil and follow engine rebuild procedure even if I just had a few thin…

For a great price(a few beers)I have acquired this intake manifold from my friends '76 280z. It was in use before he changed to carbs. He says he bought it from a guy who said he got it from California Datsun. Who knows. What I like about it is it is perfect for deleting all of the rats nest items I plan on deleting along with my engine build. Will the fact that this manifold has capacity to move a higher volume of air affect anything when installing to my P79? I will be using my stock ECM along with stock cam and all EFI componets. https://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/classic17a07b/11-2995 For Use With Our Headers: If you are going to run this Clifford manifold with one of our headers, there will be a small area of interfere between them. Slight modification (grinding) is required to the mounting flange to allow proper clearance. The small amount removed will have no adverse effects on the install, the manifold, or the header. For Use With Other Headers: The manifold will NOT work at all with Nissan Competition Headers, or Hooker headers. Can anyone explain to me please why a performance exhaust header won't work with these ?

Hey all, started to work on Megasquirt tuning. Currently my fuel/air ratio's are way to rich. It would take about 30sec with the garage door to earn you wings. . if you know what I mean. Stopping at a light in traffic could turn you green. My car is a 1976 Datsun 280Z. The engine is a L28 out of a 82 280ZX turbo completely rebuilt with a new turbo. The air/fuel ratio was running in the 16.5 to 18 range at idle(800rpm's) Cough Cough. What level should I be at? I have seen on some U-tube videos that they run between 10 and 13. At the same time, what temp should the engine be running at? 160? 170? 180? We tinkered with it a little, the following screenshot was where we were …

New here, so if I'm in the wrong place, don't be shy you can tell me where to go. I've seen this talked about in bits and pieces all over the place, but still haven't really got the answer I'm looking for. I have a 75' 280z (on jack stands for the last few years). It's a 4 speed car. I have the 5 speed and the 3.90R200 to put into it, and when I do (soon. i'm trying to rekindle this project), I would like to install a lightweight flywheel and of course new clutch. I don't want to go too light. If I recall, the stock weight is 22-23lbs. What I see all over ebay is the Fidanza packaged up with the Exedy clutch. Seems like a good package but that flywheel only weighs 10…

I am planning a major guage upgrade on #6333. Does anyone have experience installing and the results of DEFI guages? The oriental companies either don't understand my message or they are trying to protect their trade secrets. In my opinion this is porobably the single best upgrade to the interior appearance. Responses welcome. Thanx.
