   okay so ive been doing some searching and all ive been able to find are post about RB26DETTs in 240,260 and 280Zs.. but i cant seem to find anyone whos transplanted one in a 280ZX.. reason being is im looking to do this swap sometime in the near future.. and i just need some info on this subject. one of my friends will be getting his hands on a RB26DETT and a 5 speed RWD tranny from a RB25DET already attached to it.. so if anyone out there has already done this swap or know someone who has and has pictures or any helpful info on this id really apreciate it......

   Alright i am gonna be buying a 240z hopefully soon. I have aways loved the way they look and was checking out prices and realized they are so cheap. I am in CA so i will get one that is pre smog so i can go the V8 route. My questions are, Where can i start when getting the mounts for the V8? I want to go with a manual tranny, so what would you guys recommend. I was kinda thinkin of an IROC camaro or something along that lines, or would an older 4 spd be better? And is a 350 the best one to use, i have the most experience with the chevys and that would be preferable, but if there is a better one i am open to other options what is a rough estimate of putting a motor and…

   Anyone out there have a mechanical clutch setup in their v8 240z with a 5 speed. I have my 3rd hydraulic throwout bearing leaking with less than 300 miles on all 3 of them! I have given up and make a good old fashioned mechanical. Anyone help me with this process and what I will need.

    Hi guys, I am thinking of putting an 83 turbo engine in my 72Z, but don't want to turbo it or fiddle with electrics. Can I simply replace the top end with a E31 head I have and use a pair of su's with this L28 turbo bottom end? Any significant advantage to the L28 Turbo block and bottom end(stock) vs the L28 non-turbo? I had a non-turbo stock block L28 with the E31 head setup in it before and the torque was great.

    For those that have done the 60mm TB swap, what size cupler did you use to mate the TB/ to Intercooler piping. I have a 240zt that I want to do the swap on need some idea how to mate the TB my supra intercooler 2" piping. Thanks
