Would someone please tell me the conversion spec's for brake/rotor/caliper and 5 lug conversion for my 260z? I want to go big on this and do it right. Please advise!

Hi all Does anyone recommend a resource for ported intake exhaust manifold gaskets? I was opening the intake holes on one 240Z gaskets on a spindle sander and I have mixed feelings about the results... I thought I had seen some larger diameter intake exhaust gaskets on the net somewhere but can't find them anywhere now 240Z intake gasket port hole is about 36mm I need to get to 40mm for my specific application... Thoughts? Thanks, -e

Not very pretty but here is the header Z-Ya and I got with the rest of Bob Sharp Racing parts a few years back. The header studs on #1 & #6 are too big so they are hanging there just for the picture. Two 3 pipe collectors with tabs and springs funnel the flow back to the dual trumpets in the rear. It looks more like a prototype than one that was actually used. The welding in some places seems to have been done with old wire coat hangers on very thin metal using a bunch of truck batteries. I have to ask JR Mitchell if this was made at the track in an attempt to get the car back up and running. The #5 will hit the steerin…

Completed my installation of a fuse block to replace the ageing fusible links. Used the same Mini ANL block that Mike W used in his 260, except purchased the 4 fused output block. One 80A ANL for the alternator feed back, and three 50A for the other circuits were the fuses I used. This model has 2 inputs so I will eventually run another cable from the unused port to a inexpensive 2 output small fuse block without the digital bling for the FI links. The display has 4 led's for the fuse status, and the system volts / current. The display cycles between volts & amps about every 10 seconds and shuts itself off in 90 seconds if there is no circui…

Hi everyone! Here's my new to me 73 240z. Just picked her up this past Thursday and can't wait to get her road worthy. I've been reading some great info here and my to do list is growing by the second. There's some light mods done that I'm not crazy about but they are minor and can be corrected. She's originally a silver car but the PO decided to paint her a burgundy color. Will post more pics later Cheers.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to install the M6 motor and trans in a Z but I started thinking about all the suspension parts and if it would be possible to use those as well. I've never done a suspension transplant before so this might just be a terrible idea but I thought I would ask, where would I start on this? I think I would have to keep the Z steering rack... I guess I would really have to place the entire front and rear suspension set up under the Z and see what metal needs removal and what needs to be added for support.

I've been developing this '71 Z for about 5 years. It is a track day only car that has so many modifications, it will never be a stock car again. A few weeks ago, I blew my Rebello motor and now I think it may be time to hang it up. My question is whether or not to sell it as is or part it out, or what to do. As you can imagine, this car has lots of dollars invested that I know I would never get out, but someone looking for a great track day car would be able to get it fully developed, at a steal. Have not set a price yet, I'm still in mourning.
