I own what may have been the final Scarab before the company failed. It is a 1980 ZX started by Brian Morrow but finished after he sold his company. I have all of the ordering paperwork with Brian's signature and letters to and from him. It was started in late 1981 and delivered early 1983. A picture of this car is in Hot Rod magazine February 1983 pg 68 . Needs paint job and slight body work due to some minor rust issues. Does anyone know how to go about finding interested buyers for this car??

I have a 77 280z with dual SU carbs. I want to get some more power out if the motor and still drive it daily. I wanted to go to an oversized flat top piston, a shaved .080 P90 head, a stage 3 Schneider cam, a forged crank, and a new header. I was wondering what compression I should expect from the motor and could I still run 91 pump gas? Also will the motor run hot I'm running a 3 row 1 inch core aluminum radiator. Lastly could anyone tell me the HP I expect out if this setup. -Thank you

Hi all- We recently picked up a 74 260z with an L28, carbuerated, for racing in Lemons. We had to put in a new fuel pump, fix a stuck float on rear carb (round tops), new NGK plugs, and put in a battery. Here is our problem: Car runs awesome for awhile. then it develops a flat spot that it wont accelerate. IF we let the car sit and idle for a few minutes, it will run well again. Any ideas? Car is a BLAST to drive and we are really excited. We are thinking perhaps no fuel vent return line is the culprit. Any ideas would be great. Thanks!!

Has anyone done this? And what con-rods will I need? The square bore/stroke is just something I want to do. I know there is no replacement for displacement. I know the L28 strokers are more popular. I have a numbers matching 1970 240z, and want to use the block/head that it came with. I, personally, like the thought of a "square" engine, and thusly plan on building this one accordingly. Any insight or advice would be appreciated. My goal is 240rwhp, not sure its it possible, but thats what I am shooting for. Plans include: L24 block with stock 83mm bore, Ported stock head with bigger valves (if possible), LD28 83mm stroke crankshaft (knife edged), 11:1 compression ratio…

Higuys, I"m interested in connecting with anyone who has done the GTO conversion o their S30. I'm getting the last things together and would like to discuss privately little details that others have discovered, and anything else. Cheers

I found this on motortrend yesterday. Aside from the bar across the center of the headlamps these look like they could be a good upgrade over our standard lighting. However, they are quite pricey. Bright Eyes for your Retro Ride?Peterson 701C LED replacement lamps. - Motor Trend Blog

Have a fairly low mileage Y70 head/cam assembly on my 240z. It's all stock pretty sure. Stock cam. Don't know much about it but have some info from searches. Came stock on C211's Skylines, Cedric's and who knows what else. Changed the performance quite a bit - torque is strong from 3000 to 4600 rpm. Had it dyno'd, the torque is a straight line rather than a curve but it quits pulling at 5000 rpm. Read somewhere that's what the stock cam does. No plans to ever race it except once a year at the dragstrip. Got a pretty good ET last time, it's quicker than with the previous stock head, but top speed would be lower I expect. Plans for the bottom end are bore the 240 a li…
