This happens to be the biggest group of gearheads I know... So I need a little advise. I have a direct drive ski boat. Basically a chevy 350 with a Holley 4 barrel on it. I took it out today to test it and it went poorly. I dewinterized it a month or so ago with no real problems. Although I did have to raise the idle mildly to prevent stalling. I figured this was old fuel. Added ½ a tank of fresh fuel on the way to the lake. Started without too much effort but acted like the idle was weak. Headed out and tried to punch it and it fell flat on it face and bogging. Eventually stalled. Tried that a couple of times. I could gently get it up on plane 2-3k rp…

There have been other threads with posts about Datsun jackets, but I thought I would start one solely decided to the subject. I have several vintage jackets. Here's one that I got on ebay recently (for less than $18). It says it belonged to someone that was part of the Datsun pace car crew for the 1974 Ontario 500, which I believe is actually the California 500 race held at Ontario Motor Speedway. Other than the embroidery on the front and the patches on the sleeve, it appears to be the same jacket that was given away or sold by dealers in the US. It still has the red quilted liner that many of the jackets are missing. -Mike

Hey thought I toss this out there. I’m in the UK and parts of Europe for the next week+ for work. I know we have some regulars on the forum from the old world and I thought I see if I’m going to be near any of you. I’m currently in Nottingham, UK. Will have about 90 hrs off here for the weekend. Flying to Liege, Belgium (staying in Maastricht, Netherlands) and also have a layover in Basel, Switzerland for about 17 hrs later next week.
