I'm considering the purchase of a good camera setup, ie: DSLR with interchangeable lenses. How many of you are into photography? After pondering the whole Canon/Nikon thing, I think I'm going for a Canon. But, my question is probably more suited toward the lens choices. If you are at a show, what kind of lens setup do you like? Would you spring for the f2.8 or go with something less expensive like the f4 's? I've been looking at the Canon 7d, but, have been holding off until I hear about their new model coming out by the end of the year. I could spring for a 5d, but, don't really want to spend that kind of money right now. Anyway, what do you guys use or think? Mike

Hey guys, I am looking for a few interior pieces for my Dad's 85 300ZX. What I am looking for are rear speaker covers, inner and outer shift boots, drivers seat cloth upholstery, and a center console lid. All pieces are for a red interior. Any help pointing me in the right direction will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

A very informative report just came out regarding the ethanol/gasoline blended fuels. Typical of a government programs, the original reason for the program is lost and warped, somewhere between Energy Independence and Security (US Energy Independence and Security Act, passed in December 2007) and "green" low emission level fuels, with the EPA citing both needs as the reasoning, but with no mention of the "corn farmer lobby", in the NY Times article. Here - http://green.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/05/16/a-new-skirmish-in-the-ethanol-wars/?hp Here's the report itself, lots of good information in it - http://www.crcao.com/reports/recentstudies2012/CM-136-09-1B%20Engine%20Durabil…

Just saw this on the BRE page of Bookfaced. My prayers to you Victor! A friend in need: We all love our cars but what makes being a "car guy" (that refers to us ladies too) so special is that our cars bring us together and make us a warm and caring family. You have a great car you're in the family, automatically! Victor Laury is a member of that family (along with the SoCal Roadster Club). He's had every kind of Datsun imaginable. Everyone says the same thing about... Victor, a great guy that helps everybody. Well now Victor is in need. He's suffered a stroke and he and his "direct" family could use our help. A raffle is being held so someone else who's worthy, can own …

Not recommended. You need 3 hands. It is one of the integrated shoes/pads/drum/rotor/hat. It is the strangest assembly of springs, clips, hard-to-get-to parts that I have ever worked on. Even stranger is that the adjuster sprocket and the bottom spring. They actually share the same point in space. I don't know who designed the brake mechanism however the many access holes in the hub seem to point to an attempted corrective action by the hub designer.
