This is not on subject, (DATSUN), but some of you might own a Ford 6.4 Powerstroke and could find this informative. I have been driving Ford trucks for 30 years and love them, (no Ford jokes please). In my last truck update I decided to go from the F150 V8 to the F250 Powerstroke diesel. I tow periodically but most of my driving is in town. I found that the engine was in constant cleaning mode and that it never completed the cleaning cycle. This was causing extremely high engine compartment temps as well as extremely low fuel economy:angry:. Hey guys. Many of you had read and were following the thread I wrote titled "9 1/2 year member saying Goodbye" I think I need to clear up a few things. I had a very bad week and was on edge for most of the week previous to the Saturday thread. Apparantly there were some glitches, both in the software at CZCC and in my brain. Best way to explain it was I was asked about being a Club Sponsor, then my thread had dissapeared. That, and the previous week sent me over the edge. Who has experience shipping body panels by Greyhound? Did you have to box them up, or will Greyhound take them unboxed? What was the condition of the part on arrival? I'm trying to get a hood shipped to me, but I could not understand the person that I got on the phone when I called Greyhound (heavy accent). Any information and/or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
