Can someone please explain in simple terms, for an oldy, and newish to computers, how do I post a link to another website, on this forum, or highlight a word that takes you to another site. Sounds like a dumb question and i'm sure it must be simple, but I have not been able to figure it out.:stupid:

Australian Floods 1 2

I would like to make mention of the terrible floods sweeping through Queensland, and down into New South Wales, Australia, with the loss of life and dozens of people missing. My thoughts are with our neighbours across the Tasman Sea. There are some on this forum living in Queensland, and New South Wales.I hope you are safe. Brian.

Hi, As you have guessed, this thread has nothing to do with Z's. This is another (very small) project I have. Basically, I have an enduro bike that I'm trying to make street legal/useable at night. So, at the moment, it has no light and no battery (it's a kick-start) so my question is: How/where do I connect the headlight (and any other electric device) in order to get power to them? My biggest weakness is electricity and related stuff so sorry if it's really obvious, I just don't want to screw anything. At the moment, I have the headlight, flasher and taillight rigged and ready to install with on/off switches. Great, but... what now? Thanks! EDIT: in case this can help,…

Does anybody here know anything about the legality of selling drawings of recognizable cars? I've been perusing the website of the Boogerballs guy , and I'm just wondering how he gets away with selling his illustrations. Is it because the logos and emblems and such are mostly small or obscured? There's been some interest in me selling prints of my illustrations, Z's included, and I'd like to know what my legal limitations are. Any experts around?

Few friends of mine wrote, directed, and acted in this movie. Plot involves a Investigator with a sexy 280Z, and quite a few Datsuns and other interesting cars make an appearance. Some fun chase scenes, cool music. Plot reminds me of a bad Magnum, PI episode, but I enjoy that kind of stuff! If anyone wants to learn more, here is a link to the trailer - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63nPL-6I09A

It snowed a little last night; which means my town put down a LOT of salt and sand. And with that, my Z is officially put away for the winter. But that doesn't mean the fun is over. On the contrary, the fun just begins because I enjoy working on the car as much as I enjoy driving it. On the list for this winter: - Set the float heights as per the 1973 TSB for a '72 240Z; 12mm for the rear and 16mm for the front (they're both 14mm right now); - Paint & install the RT Mount; - Replace Inner Shift Boot; - Investigate and repair non-functioning horn; - Replace some firewall grommets; - Fix right window movement (doesn't lower the last 2 inches); - Send Clock out to ZClock…

As I have mentioned before, one of the primary places I buy new Nissan parts is at nissanpartsnow.com. It is the website of Conyers Nissan in Georgia and their prices are usually the lowest I have found online (I normally compare prices to nissanparts.cc and courtesyparts.com to double check though). I got an email the other day about a $10 coupon they have now for orders of $100 or more placed before the end of the year. FREE10 Use this coupon code to receive an extra $10 off any order over $100.00 Simply enter FREE10 during the checkout process when prompted. We will modify your order before it ships out. Valid on orders placed from 12/21/2010 to 12/31/2010. May not b…

First off, I just want to say that this initial post is not a product review or an endorsement of any kind of this product. I have not used any of this stainless hardware kit yet and my intention here is just to show all of what is included in it. Because the sellers description, although thorough, didn't include any pics and seemed a bit confusing, in the sense of trying to cover the 240Z, 260Z and 280Z in one all inclusive kit. They did a good job in that regard, with the exception of the rear suspension hardware being absent. I decided to go this route after investigating other options, such as replating my existing hardware or farming it out. What helped me with my pa…

If there were a 240Z entered, I would be voting for that, but this is the only Z, and any Z is better than no Z! Please join me in helping out a fellow Z enthiusiast, Brent Hunter, by taking a couple of minutes to vote for his 350Z in the Rockford Fosgate Challenge Visit this website: http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/promotions/2010_WhatsYourVolume2.asp#vote Vote "NO" on all of the entries except #22, Brent Hunter, and vote yes for him. This will help him to earn a Sponsorship from Rockford Fosgate, and put a Z in a national ad campaign! Lets help the advertising world to see the support the Z community has for its own! Brent will be bringing this car to Z Isla…

For anyone with a reader in the family, I wanted to suggest my wife’s second book in her Broken Vows mystery series as a stocking stuffer this holiday season. The story has a fun subplot involving a search for a Datsun Z racecar—and the customer isn’t planning to put it on the track! In For Richer, for Danger, after years of ambivalence about parenthood, sports car boutique owner Jolene Asdale is now driven to adopt her foster child, the daughter of fugitive robbery suspects. But some major roadblocks pop up, including an open hit-and-run case and a recent murder—with the silent, uncooperative birthmother as the prime suspect. If you’re interested, the book’s…
