Seems I've got an ant colony nesting in the body of the Z32, somewhere. About a month ago, I parked it on the grass under a cover for 2 days and the ants must have started it then. Now I see ants running trails along the cowl, roof molding, fender, door sills, engine bay peritmeter, etc. Its only on the body right now, but I imagine they'll find their way into the interior soon enough. What's safe to use w/o damaging the paint? Looking for some tried and true suggestions. My thoughts so far: 1. Bait traps? Take too long 2. Neem oil? I may try this if I can find out if a capful or two in a carwash solution would kill them. 2. Simple Green? I read online that this would ki…

This is pure curiosity, I'm just wondering if there's any real science behind the cliche' of running a car hard to "burn the carbon out" and somehow remove deposits that may be there from loping it along or having it sit for a long time. I know it's an age-old saying, and I wonder if it has (or ever had) validity. Sorta the same as oil change and engine break-in science being largely old cliche's and hearsay. Thanks

Fitted my new 240 relay harness from Dave Irwin a couple of days ago . What a difference. I fitted new 100/90 bulbs and did a Club run in the rain on Sat. night. Could see where we were going. An added bonus- the wipers seem to be going faster!!! Is that possible?

When I had my z31's I kept a link page like this. I made it because my browser bookmarks are filed pretty haphazardly. Does anybody have one like this for 70-83 Z cars? I was wondering earlier if my '73 came with a rear sway bar from the factory and if so what size was it. It would be great to have a page full of links where you would have a good chance at finding answers to questions like that. If there isn't anything like this and anybody is interested I could make an s30/130 links page like my z31 links page. You could suggest categories and pages to list under those categories.

It seems there's a few Z forums and all of them have little activity. I just got into Zs (previously a Rx7 guy) and it seems that there isn't a single forum that stays very active. Even this forum - the most active I've found - has sections that won't see posts in months. I was just curious, is there a reason all the forums don't converge into one? It seems that if we were able to compile all of the Z forums into one - the knoweldge base would increase exponentially and benefit everyone. Also, am I just not seeing it since I'm new or is there no classifieds section on this forum?

So... Anyone on here invest too? I actually pulled all my monies out before May (phew!) but now I'm looking at buying back in. BP - down but most certainly not out. Anyone else think this is looking like a tastey idea? What are your guy's flagship stocks?
