For those of you who don't visit zcar.com or haven't seen this, A fellow Z lover "Cyind" died today. Please click on the link below and help Robert's family if possible, or just send your condolences. He was terminally ill and lost his life today according to his brother. Apparently, his family doesn't have the money for his funeral, so they are selling his Z cars and parts to help raise money. http://www.zcar.com/forums/read/1/2132381

Hey just thought I would throw this out there for anyone who likes to see low vins and may know something about this car. Vin is a 1/70 car but does look like it has been changed around, 240z badge gone, hatch gone, orginal motor gone, and color change. Just thought I'd post this in case any one was interested. http://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/cto/1633558881.html Car is HLS30-96591, Original Engine: L24-121846 , Original 4-speed transmission. All original smog equipment in place including smog pump belt. Car is original paint but has areas where bondo was used (obvious) and car spray paint used to cover. The frame rails are in very good condition with no rust; Driverside is near perfect, passenger side has some dents from lifting with jack, but not bad. Battery has hard rust underneath but the metal is still solid and not broken through. This seems to be the only bad rust area - not counting the bondo areas. Bad b…

All you fair weather guys - don't need to hear of your 70 degree weather . When I had a snow plow, they used to say 'plow with the storm', so last night my wife and I 'shovelled with the storm'. This morning we gave that idea up, and just cleared pathways in our driveway and outback for the dogs. With 30 inches so far, its gotten a bit much. The 4x4's get stuck as the frames hang up on the deep snow and drifts, so I'm stuck here at home. Who else is homebound? At least the electric is still on - knock on wood!
