I just received my invite for Bill Coffey's annual garage party. Here's a link to the invite. Big Fun!! http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/323/wfccarshow6finalver.pdf DISREGARD DATE ON FLYER. Correct Date October 24th. Here's a couple pic' from previous years. These are just of the apron in front of the garage. A lot more cars fill the driveway, yard, and street. I fact a couple years ago "Cannonball Jack" May who won the 1975 Cannonball Sea to Shining Sea race showed up with the winning 246 Dino. It's guaranteed to be a good time!

I have always thought the Nissan 720 4x4 was the best looking pickup ever made. I had a really nice 85 a few years ago that I had to sell to get some cash. It had some rust in the body mounts and the bedside but was perfect otherwise. Well today I went and got another. Only this one has 75k original miles, all service records and absolutely ZERO rust anywhere!!!! I thought my next car would be an S30 but this was too cool to pass on. It's a 1986 Extra cab 4x4 sport truck.

Hey everyone, I got this assignment today saying that I have to teach the class I'm in about ignition timing failures. I go to UTI right now and that's what the instructor wanted us to do. Cool thing is that I've learned quite a bit about my 77 280Z. For example: the distributor has a magnetic sensor/ "triggering device" and that it has solid lifters(which is why there's a lot of ticking coming from the engine). My real question is what happens when the timing fails? I figure it's better to work smarter not harder, so just go here. Hahaha Oh, we haven't gone through timing yet in the class, if anyone's curious.

Hi folks, I am a newbie, was a Mopar nut all my life and except for the 73Z I had when I was 21 yrs old...all MOpar. Anyways, I now have a 1972 240Z and just want to learn more about this car. How does one ID the type of head on this motor? I have read that there are different heads out there some better than others. As far as I can tell my motor is 100% stock and original. What head should be on this car and is it a desireable one? Thanks GCSS

anyone have one of these: http://cache01.voyageurweb.com/otctools.com/newcatalog/products/09-120.pdf I currently have an aluminum Sears one ( http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00950239000P?keyword=50239) but it is leaking and the reviews online (didn't have all those when I got it) say that most leaked a lot faster than mine. I've had it about 6 years. I'm tempted to get a new power unit for it since it is half the price of a new one but figured it was worth shopping around first. 6 years isn't bad but it didn't get used that much. I liked the Sears one because it is fairly light, goes up very fast, usually only 1 pump to hit the bottom of the car (or 2 with the…

:paranoid: understanding that The Datsun Heritage Museum is a good thing - I like to tell a story by short.. Here in Norway the Datsun´s start to arrive as early as 1960, and since then been a very professional company. Nissan of Norway collected AND restored almost all their models and variants all back to their very first Datsun Bluebird in Europe. I personally was involved pushing the purchase of both a roadster and a Z car among the their normal model program. Many enthusiasts in the company and around were pleased and proud of what was achieved. After all this effort the cars where sold of to "strangers" over two weekends - a decision by the Japanese owner - Maruben…
