My goodness, I hope we haven't all forgotten. I'd like to lead a rousing cheer of 'BANZAI !!!' for Mr. K today. It's not everyday that someone reaches 100 yrs. old; especially someone so near and dear to our hearts. Happy Birthday, Mr. Katayama, and thank you for all you've done for us Z lovers. As an aside, I had my Japanese flag flying outside my home today to commemorate this august occasion.

Hi everyone, I'm Will and I'm new to this site... Judging by what it's called I would instantly assume I should join cause I love all Datsuns! (Especially the 240z) I may not know as much as the rest of you guys cause I still don't have a drivers permit... :disappoin, but I do plan on buying a 240, 260, or 280z model once I get the permit... Any suggestions of an easy way to find a Z seller near the PA area? By the way, thanks again for allowing me to join this site! -Will

The Z Car Club of Colorado will be hosting the 2009 Midwest Z Fest in Denver on September 10-13. We're still at the early stages of planning, but we're going to have a variety of events including: - Track event at the new High Plains Raceway - Shine and Show - Mountain Drives (possibly to include a car museum) - Awards Banquet We've set up a site at www.midwestzfest.com where you'll be able to keep abreast as things firm up. In the next few weeks we'll have a hotel selected and will be able to provide specifics on the schedule and costs. In the mean time, if you ever thought about visiting Colorado, here's a great reason to do it this year.

I am throwing a party at my home in Stevensville Montana on Saturday September 12, in honor of Mr. K's contribution to the motoring public.. We will have a chilli feed (mild and spicy). Please give me a call if you would like to attend.. My wife needs to know how much to make! We will have about 15 to 20 local cars here and I have room in the yard for lots more! Give me a buzz if this sounds appealing to you or just happen to be passing through... all are welcome. Kirk 406-546-4201

Everything is going well. Changed oil and cooling system flushed Cleared rodent nest from air cleaner housing and tail light panel area Added 5 gals of fresh fuel and drained tank *no particles found in drained fuel but did find a couple booger sized flakes in the old fuel filter No driver side brake light Found a portion of the Cali emission rusted clean through. The belt for the pump removed at sometime previous and conveniently stored in the rear area, so I sealed off the carb balancing tube leaving only the brake assist line intact * I would like to refresh the carbs before adding more fresh fuel and firing it up. Should I go as far (or as little) as to clean the …

The Z is finally heading to Mass for some end of the summer and fall fun, after 8 years of storage in Idaho. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the auto-transport persons involved will appreciate, love and care for my little gem. But all I can think of is Ferris Bueller's Day Off, that 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California and those parking garage attendants. AAAAAAAAAGHHHhh!!! Estimated delivery September 2. thor
