Where can I get the DATSUN banner to go across the top of the windshield? Thought it would be easy to find but haven't sourced one yet. Hate to have a custom one plotted. Steve

Hi Gang: I’ve published some pictures and captions from the Amelia Island Concours this past weekend, on the Z Car Home Page. It was just faster/easier to put the large photo files there, along with the proper captions. If your interested see: http://ZHome.com/Amelia09/Amelia09BREZ.htm I’ll be adding some side stories about the trip and the Event a little later to this Thread... so check back.. FWIW, Carl B.

I've located a 1968 Datsun SPL311 Roadster about 200 miles from me, and I'm thinking about buying it. Actually, I'm trying to put together a trade for a 1974 Triumph Bonneville 750 that I have. The guy with the Datsun seems interested so far. My question is, what are these cars worth? Its running, but overheats. It needs some body work, and the interior is a bit dirty, but overall based on pics only, it looks like a pretty solid little car to start my next project. Also, are parts still available for them? Thanks.

Just got back from a vacation to "The Big Easy" with my bride of 25 years... Looked around but saw no Z's, of any kind! Did see a nice looking race-prepped Ferarri 355 parked in the French Quarter during the Jazz Fest. Shoulda asked the question *before* leaving California, but will ask before I travel anywhere else... Going to SoCal (San Diego area ) on business in the next week or so, but it's just a quick overnite gig, so it's unlikely I can meet-up with anyone.

Back in the early 80's does anyone recall a large aftermarket source and custom garage up in Clifton, NJ that was maybe called ZAPP? This was bacl around the time Jim Cook racing was big in the Z car aftermarket too. I remember driving up there from Phila one day and they were pretty impressive with several V8 Z's in showroom floor. Just curious :classic: also is anyone still dealing with Jim Cook? I recall his wife taking over the business after Jim but this was already several years ago. they go by so fast anymore.

Hello, Im new here and I may be posting in the wrong area for this question but I was hoping someone could give me some information on the fuel injection on the S30 280z cars. I was given a 240 with the stipulation that the engine stays with the previous owner. As luck would have it I spotted a S30 280z near my home and was able to pick it up for a very reasonable price. I am perfectly content to use the 280 engine but I am wondering about how the fuel injection works and how often I can expect to have to work on it, ! As a side note, two days after my 240 came to live with me a local guy stopped by my shop and offered me a new set of front fenders that have been hangin …
