I have been into Z cars for about 2 1/2 years now and now own two. A 73 with the LS1/T56 and a 71 with lots of little goodies on it. Here is the car I have been building for two years (73): I just picked this car up less than a week ago (71): For a complete story on it please see this link --> http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=141186 I like coming here to the site and learning the history of our Z cars and see some very beautiful stock cars! I have sold some…

I was asked the other day if I had ever seen an L6 valve cover for a 3.0 liter and I said no. After some research I found there was a skyline motor (I6) of this type made in Australia. Does anyone have a picture of the valve cover? Will it fit an L6? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Skyline GTS-R The ultimate version of the R31 was the RB20DET-R powered HR31 GTS-R Coupe (800 units built for group A evolution). It had a reworked version of the normal RB20DET with a much larger turbocharger on a tubular steel exhaust manifold, as well as a much larger front mounted intercooler boosting power to a factory claimed 210 ps (154 kW), with racing versions making 460 hp (343 k…

O.k. so here's the story... as a joke I sent a text message to a toyota loving friend of mine that said Z+L28>ae86 (ae86 is an early corolla..think initial D if anyone didn't know).. In response to my message he went through the trouble of proving toyotas are better like this. He assigned each letter of the alphabet a number e.g. A=1, B=2, C=3, and so on all the way to Z. he then spelled out the names D-A-T-S-U-N and T-O-Y-O-T-A, and totalled the value of each. Datsun=79 while Toyota=96. Using these numbers he determined that toyotas are 15.62% greater than Datsuns... Is there anyone out there with even more time on his hands than this guy to prove him wrong? Or d…

I just wanted to say congratulations to President Elect Barack Obabma! It's been a long campaign, and it's great to finally have an outcome. Senator John McCain should be commended as well for being a great American, and gracious in defeat.

I saw a post by Carl about Roar N Soar and checked in to it. Looks like a blast. I entered my car in the "corral" http://www.fantasyofflight.com/roar-n-soar/applications/classic_vintage_car_show_app/ This is great deal as $35.00 gets you admission for 2 for both days as well as great parking for your ride! They're looking for more cars so if your thinking about it you should enter soon. Derek

Hello Z friends I was out for 180 mile round trip cruise in my Z last weekend and thought to myself "damn what a busy year and boy did the summer season fly by I bet all the guys @ classiczcarclub think I'm dead" so here I am again giving you all a shout to let you know me and my Z are still alive and well. Unfortunately that trip last weekend will probably be the last for the year. I took this photo last weekend when I got back from my cruise getting it all cleaned and prepped for winter storage :( Hope all you guys are doing well and had a great summer season with your Z's. Take care, Jared
