Left my office to get in my Z only to find that it had been broken into and my new stereo and amp stolen... But wait theres more!! The dash panel inset was totally destroyed along with the dash light, all connected wiring, controls etc etc etc etc. Bad enough to be hit by thieves but incompetent ones makes it worse. They would have been better off stealing the parts they broke and selling them on Ebay. AAARRRRGGGGGHHH:mad:

Hey Guys and Gals - Just a few minutes ago looked out the window and what did I see by my garage? A cow and calf moose eating my trees. Happens several times a year. Check it out. Actually I think they were here for the purple flowers

For personal research fun, I was wondering what the first car (Japanese or otherwise) to wear "GTR" was. Nowadays those 3 letters are synonomous with the Nissan Skyline - but I believe Isuzu beat them to the punch with their Isuzu Bellett GTR. Does anybody know of any car ealier than this (1967) that wore the GTR badge?

I swear I've seen this discussed before, but search doesn't turn up anything. Why do most photos of members cars have the license plate blanked out or obscured? I have restored my vintage Florida plate, but am reluctant to post pics until I can get an answer to this query. TIA.

Vintage Racer - Started this adventure with his Introduction "Atlanta guy needs 240Z help" http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31340 I replied that given the VIN - I could tell him if it was a 1970 Series I or 1971 Series II vehicle. Doc. replied with; HLS30 30855. JUMP BACK......!! I know that Z !! So I contacted Doc - and he wanted to see Galaxybj {aka Bill Jones} get his car back just as much as I did. Doc connected me with a friend of his that lived in the area, Bill Whitten was also most willing to help, so I took him up on his offer. I called my son Carl jr. and ask him if he was ready for another road trip to pick up another Z in Georgia... {t…

I installed a keyless entry system in my car. Autoloc model KL 550. Does anyone have any experience installing these or a similar system? Everything went really good. Power door locks work great. Parking lights flash when system is activated and deactivated. My question is on the starter/ignition kill. I don't know if I have some wires crossed or backwards or what but, I unlock the doors, get in the car, sit down, then when I turn the key, nothing. Then when I activate the system and lock the doors, turn the key and she fires right up. Is this supposed to work like this? I was hoping it would be the opposite where the system (doors) are unlocked for the engine to turn ove…

Hi all, I am relocating from San Jose, CA to Mission Viejo and need a reference for a transport company. I would drive it but it has been sitting in the garage for about 3 years and I don't have the time to work on it during the move. Does any one know of a good transport company who is reliable and affordable? Thanks. Andre
