Where are all the Z's? Fun show, mostly Ford and Chevy. People loved looking at my Z and talking about Zcars. I would love to have some other Zcars to hang out and talk shop. Oh well.

I have been searching, but have been unable to determine this question. Can a Vintage Air Gen II Compact system fit in a 72 240z? If so, are there any pics, write ups? I have seen the Vintage Air Gen II mini systems installed, I am just thinking of getting a little more. Thanks

So I went out and bought a used inferno red 07 PT cruiser the other day. Pics coming soon. Got a really great deal on it from a friend. I do love it. trying to save gas from the bigger SUV we had. Anyway the 07 Cruiser has a gas scanner in it. Tells me how many miles are left in the tank and average MPG. The dealer gave us a gas ticket for a BP station up the road. Filled up and ended getting 18 to 20 mpg from 87 octain gas. We needed more gas the other day and went to the wal-mart and placed 40.00 dollars in it. Now my scanner is saying we are getting 12 to 15 mpg. I know I can't judge the mpg's off of just one fill up but have any of you ever noticed a difference in yo…

I saw the ad in Sunday's Wichita Eagle as '70 240Z #110'. I called that moment to see if I had read the ad right. It is #110 and this is what I was told. He had purchaced it in 76 from the original owner, a Nebraska car, drove it a couple of years, and has been sitting in his garage as a project car since 78. He just never got around to working on it. Clock says 90K, title says he bought it in 76 with 76K. I made agangements to see it so went over this evening. All numbers are indeed #110, 11-69. It has a 260 engine with rountop carbs, put in by the original owner. He (person selling) wasn't sure what happened to the original engine. It has rust in all the right…

Hey folks! Have you all been good Datsun fiends? It's been a long time. I kinda miss you all. I thought of the classic Z forum today, when I bought the latest Vintage auto Vol. 14. They had an article on the MSA show and featured some very familar faces. Just stopping by to say 久しぶりですね? Long time, no see.

As a Japanese car distinctly designed to appeal to the American market, it seems that the modding world is most often stuck somewhere between the muscle and JDM spheres (aka old white men, young Asian kids). I've noticed that for many Z owners, the Z is considered an exception to the "Jap is crap" notion... A sentiment alienating them from both camps.

Thats fine, and I completely understand Its also irritating to me when I see my own peers and even teachers who have difficulty spelling and usually when I´m online, I don´t txt, I only txt when I´m txt messaging. This is the only thread where I have used txt and it was because of the sole purpose of being nervous, plus I´m pmsing REALLY bad. Of course, you still probably won´t understand that part. So in summation, I won´t txt here. I haven´t before and I won´t continue. Like I´ve said before, I´m just looking for guidence and help. Thank you.

On Sunday, late morning, I was driving back from the desert on my way home from riding my dirt bike when I got to see a new GTR. I was on hwy 138, a long two lane road running between Interstate 5 (near Gorman) and the 14 freeway (in SoCal), when I noticed a bunch of cars pulling onto 138 from a side road. They were all blowing through the stop, at least until I came upon them, splitting the group in two. All the cars appeared to be high end sports cars but, I could not identify the cars ahead of me nor the ones behind me now. I figured they would eventually go by me and sure enough they started going by at....I'm guessing 80 to 90 mph (I was cruising at 65). The first ca…
