I've been a member here for some time now and I have never posted any pics of my car. Be gentle, I did all the work on it myself, including paint, and I know its got a long way to go. But the info I've gained from this site has been awesome the entire time. Just want to say thanks everybody. A little bit about her: 77 280z MSA type III front end 83 ZX 5-speed turbo wheels (which will hopefully be gone soon:)) energy suspension urathane bushings front and rear solid aluminum steering coupler again thanks everyone.

I'm heading home after 2 months commercial salmon fishing in Alaska. (waiting for 8 hrs in Seatac airport for a flight to Walla Walla) I missed driving my Z and my daily visit to this site) Good to be back. Jon Pics are my crew the last day I fished. Time to go home for sure!

Ok, so I was in LA on vacation last week. Needless to say it was a fantastic vacation, sure beats the weather in PA. Anyways, right off the highway, near a nissan corporate building I was this awesome billboard. It was an advertisement for the Z series. This one had a picture of a 280ZX on it and the quote said "35 years of bitchin". I had to take a photo of it, because it was great to see that kind of stuff on a billboard A few days later I was driving on the same highway, but I noticed the 280ZX was gone, "no" i think to my self, they can't take down the Z billboard, and then I noticied it was a 300Z billboard that said "35 years of rad", complimented by a picture …

I caught this little thug in my garage trying to steal my Z ! (j/k) It's really my 6 mo. old grandson. I told my wife, 'It's an honor to be in that seat. The only time someone else has been in the drivers seat is when they help me bleed the hydraulics.'

House mover needed to pick up and move kenz240z garage with it's contents to me, with a stop over around the corner to pick up a 4 post lift and bridgeport from ncol. Then bring them down to broomfield. ;-) Kenz240z, Pop's Z, ncol and I got together saturday to change oil and crack open a few transmissions. One 4 speed was junk and Ken will be able to use it as a core for the 5 spd. The late 5 spd is great on the inside, but the tail housing has a bad bushing which scored the driveshaft yoke. I'm not sure if a speedy sleeve will work on the driveshaft with a new bushing or not. The early 5 spd looks ok except for when a previous owner dropped the tail and broke the end of…

First off.....restrain yourself and try to hold back your chuckles, I'm getting enough of that from my cousin! I found this "project" at a yard sale and though to myself I'll get it running, do a little work and then sell it. The problem is I hadn't yet found my dream 69/70 240 project, I had a garage full of tools staring forlornly at me and gobs of time on my hands. Next thing I know, the ol' "one thing led to another" got me and the result is this, my freshly restored 1966 Western Auto "Wizard" rototiller made by Gilson Brothers.
