Hi all, we had our N.E. Z Adventure last weekend at the Saratoga Auto Museum and it went great. We had 40 cars show up and it was nice to see cars from Mass., Conneticut, Rochester,NY, and Canada. The Z Association of NY (ZANY) hosted the event for the second year at the museum. Check out some of the pics here. http://youtube.com/watch?v=hWiGi2nMS_I I added a few tunes, so enjoy!!! Tom

Just got my car back from 2 months of being in 'rehab'. Shinzo Auto Service down in Irvine took great care of my ride did an outstanding job at getting the car road worthy by doing some minor upgrades and small restoration work. I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing a shop that really understands how Datsuns work. He has a wicked race ready 240 that looks mint from the outside and fully tuned on the inside. I also want to thank Dave Irwin for providing the electrical upgrade parts and Arne Berglund for helping me get some very hard to find parts. Although it set me back a few dollars more than I expected, it was well worth it.

I'm looking for a new project.... Are there any (for lack of better terms) search engines for classic cars? I don't have the time or stamina to look through Ebay, Craigslist, GoFast Auctions, Classiccars.com, collector car trader, Hemmings etc every few days and was wondering if there's a single engine that mines all of these (and other) sites? Google turns up a lot of junk, and since I'm looking for about 10 different cars, it'd be cool to run a customizable search of all classic car adverts. Any ideas? Thanks!

From what I've been able to find on the web, it looks like there were 116,712 240Z's sold. (is this correct?) I'm wondering how many 240's have survived. (Running or restorable). Anyone have a reliable estimate? Just curious.

I was talking Z cars with my next door neighbor today and he said he had an original service manual for a '77 280z that he just dug up and wanted to know if I wanted it, so I said I'd like to pay him for it. He kindly rejected the offer and gave it to me for free! I think I will mail him a Starbucks card or something.

These pictures come from a Seattle Area paper. Yesterday, a 25 Year old driving a 350Z doing well over 100 according to witnesses. Skidded, turned sideways, hit a curb and flew through a wrought iron fence and 85 feet through the air into the yard of a house. The gas tank ruptured as it went over the curb and the car was on fire as it flew through the air. Both the driver and passenger were burned beyond recognition... First thumbnail is the house. It wasn't hit but as you can see the fire was pretty intense. Second thumbnail is the mangled wrought iron fence at a clinic 85 feet from the house. Third is the curb next to the fence. See the scrape marks from the bottom of t…
